Was great seeing Cat fans with you. I'm kinda glad the season is mercifully over. You need to follow our UK Volleyball team the rest of the spring. We're 16-0 and ranked #3 in the country right now. Oh that's really cool you came to my city to visit. Looks like you had a blast. And you do have to sit on the left side of the plane during landing at LGA. in 2019 I traveled to Arkansas and back every week for work and the landing path would take the left to see all the skyscrapers as you approach the runaway. You still got Lady Liberty though.

I can't believe how many things you were able to see in just one day. LaGuardia looks so different, I made it a point not to fly out of Lga ever again but now that you showed us how nice it is now I might. I think you got denied at KCM is because you have to be an active crew member, but since you did your recurrent you're now an active f/a and should be able to go through KCM again. I think when you first started Ny was your first base? Where did you live in Crew Gardens like most of the new hires? It's actually a very convenient place because your right in the middle between Jfk and Lga. That was a really nice vlog. Keep them coming and stay safe.

Check the wind to figure out which side of the plane to be on. North wind, coming from the south, you'll probably approach over Brooklyn/Queens, Manhattan on left. South wind, coming from the south, you'll probably go up the Hudson (Manhattan on right or even below you), make a 180 turn and approach over Bronx.

LGA is unpredictable as to which side you want to sit. If you approach over Brooklyn and the airport from the east you want to be on the left. But if you approach over NJ and the Bronx you want to be on the right. But of course you don't know which one it will be until you're on it.

@@KaceyCassady it sure does. As an av geek I like to be on the side facing the runway while on the takeoff queue and facing the departing traffic on landing. Some airports are more predictable than others but it usually comes down to which runway(s) are the actives which makes it like playing the lottery.

Well, you got to be an exchange student in a really neat city. I was an exchange student in Leningrad (during the communist period). Even though Leningrad was the nicest city in the Soviet Union, it could not compare to Paris. I stayed in Paris for a week between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R and thought it was beautiful..

actually, the rent has dropped so much in the city, especially on the ues! You can find a nice studio on the use for 1500-2000 depending how nice is the building and what you have in the apartment (dishwasher and balcony)
