Thank you again for telling the truth and being one of very few places on the Internet that we find Islam without an agenda. Alhamdulillah

We had the honor of hosting her at the AbuSulayman Center for Global Islamic studies to present her work. A truly remarkable and understudied field that shows the need for liberatory theological interpretations

Sheikh. Jazakalaha. What Muslim rulers do with their subjects today has a legacy we spli as umma immediately after death of prophet s a w and all rulers persecuted their opponents within their rule not for denying message and messenger of Allah but for even genuine opposition to ruler This happened recklessly through out caliphate so much so we didn’t even spare household of prophet s a w instead of examining our history on merits we unanimously hold victims responsible for all that and don’t condemn oppression and call all rank and file Janti. Janti. What happened in Syrian prisons is condemnable but how. Saudis treated kashogji journalist in turkey decomposing his body into liquid and flushing it out has not so far being condemned by any khteeb. We have got such action and proceedings in. Inheritance from our aslaaf rulers

Dictators are brutal, but the degree of brutality varies depending on the strength of the opposition they face. Stronger opposition often prompts harsher measures to maintain their regimes. In Arab countries, the strength of opposition to dictatorships differs, influenced by local realities, which in turn shapes the level of brutality these regimes exhibit.
