Hello, just wanted to say thank you for introducing me to meditation and Lucid Dreaming a few years back. I started meditating more or less regularly, and it really improved my concentration and sleep quality. Your explanations are really great, and I like the explanation videos which build on top of each other. So far i've found no other channel that made videos which are that well structured without any disrupting music. I'll still come back after all that time to rewatch some videos or to learn more. Thank you!

This was great! I love dream control, and it's the thing I seem to be teaching the most these days on the lucid dreaming subreddit. I was talking to someone yesterday and today, and this person was facing limitations in dreams. I was telling that person that these were perceived limitations in the most literal sense of the term, as it was their perception of the experience of the dream that created the limitations they were experiencing. There's a great quote from Dr. Stephen LaBerge to describe dreams and perception. He said, "Perception is dreaming constrained by sensory input. Dreaming is perception unconstrained by sensory input." How we perceive things in dreams is how we influence and control dreams, which is why I am firmly of the mind that dream control is all about self control. Our ability to control our mindset, our beliefs in dreams, emotions, our thoughts, etc, this sort of thing is how we can influence how we perceive things and thus, the things that happen in dreams. It's amazing. That number 4 item, revisiting something you may have wished to do differently, is actually a great reason for doing the MILD technique with lucid dreams, and something I actually do as part of my lucid dreaming practice. I observe how I could have done things better, and I use MILD to help me consider what I could have done differently and prepare for the future. MILD doesn't only have to be done with non-lucid dreams. IT can be done with lucid dreams as well. A broad idea I have for things you could do is similar to something you suggested. Do something you've done or want to do, but turn it on its head and do it in a crazy or abstract way. For me, this is reverse skydiving, something I really enjoyed when I did it, and think is cool. Instead of jumping out of an airplane and parachuting to the ground, jump into the sky, fly, and then intercept and board a flying airplane. Bonus points if you then seize control of and fly said airplane, especially if you could then make it to a runway and land, thus fully reversing the typical skydiving experience.
