Abilify(Aripiprazole) is a 3rd generation atypical antipsychotic. In my experience with the SSRI I was on, it actually increased the amount of lucid dreams I had weirdly enough. I was briefly on an atypical antipsychotic myself, Risperidone, and I did notice that after a brief increase in dreams during the first month or two while I was on it, that my ability to dream and lucid dream went down on it during later months, so perhaps Abilify does something similar. Why you're on it might impact things a little. Even though it's technically an antipsychotic, Aripiprazole as a partial dopamine agonist is sometimes used outside of treating/preventing psychosis, to treat things like depression, autism, tic disorders, or OCD. For those things there are other medications that are generally equally as effective so if it's impacting your lucid dreaming you could ask for a switch. If you're using it to treat bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, unspecified psychosis, delusional disorder, temporary psychosis, delusions, or another related issue though, then remaining on an antipsychotic is pretty important. While you can certainly experiment with other antipsychotics (and/or mood stabilisers like Lamotrigine, Lithium Carbonate, etc if you're bipolar), I would not recommend stopping antipsychotics entirely, as a key symptom of psychosis and/or mania can be resistance to/fear of medication, which can lead to difficulty ever getting back on them and getting treated again if symptoms re-appear. This can be incredibly dangerous since untreated psychosis is both a horrifying experience and something that can lead to you getting yourself hurt, hospitalised, or worse (something I can attest to from my own experiences with psychosis).
