I really appreciate your commitment to not ripping out plaster at every opportunity like most content creators. My house is lath and plaster and I occasionally have to make fixes and you're one of the only channels that doesn't advocate for just slapping on some drywall and calling it a day. I'd much rather buy a bag of durabond to replace missing plaster by patching in the holes than have to deal with putting up and taping a bunch of drywall. I had to repair some water damaged plaster in my skylight well this weekend and I just loosened the bad stuff and patched it up with a few rounds of hot mud. It was ready for paint by the evening. Your water troweling video saved the day again

When I redid my kitchen I was unable to move walls etc., but I did remove the popcorn ceiling and painted it with a satin paint and replaced the light fixtures. It is so much lighter and brighter and gives the illusion of being larger. Love, love, love your videos!

Love your channel/ site. Thank you.

I appreciate your honesty. I will say this in response to your concerns. The work station sink should remedy using the coutertop as a cutting board. Also, wood can always be sanded and refinished. And last, I tried to stay true to the style of the home and wooden countertops were common in mid century modern homes.
