He had the spider sense prior, I think I read or heard it was messed up now cause when he dusted away he felt it coming before it happened and it scared him or caused him problems with the sense since coming back

Also- he patrolled in the iron spider- which is bullet proof! So he stopped reacting to the sense because he didn’t need to worry about getting hurt/the consequences!!

What's so cool and meta about Jake Gyllenhaal being in this as Mysterio is that back when they were about to start filming Spider-Man 2, there was breif talk about replacing Tobey McGuire because he had a back injury while filming Seabiscuit and Jake was ready to take over but Tobey manage to keep the gig. And in Spider-Man 2 there was a scene where they poke fun of it when he tried to jump between buildings and fell down. Then coming up saying "MY BACK!" Also this movie is so good at hidden details. When you look closely at the shot eight before Peter goes in to buy the Black Deliah necklace you can see Quentin Beck in the background hiding and all of his "Mysterio Team" all over showing that they've been following him the entire time before Mysterio even first showed up. Dimitri, the guy who works for Fury that drove the bus is another Spider-Man villain in the comics, Chameleon

I love it how this movie starts with Peter being tired after Thanos and losing Tony and just wanting to go on vacation, and even his powers arent working properly. And that's the only reason Mysterio has a chance. Once he gets his head straight, and his Spider-Sense goes back to 100% it's over. Eyes closed, dodging bullets and getting rid of all those drones. People talk a lot of crap about this movie but I think if you compare this movie's Peter directly to the one on No Way Home, where he's ALWAYS paying attention to his senses, it shows that this movie really helped Peter grow. I really appreciate Tom's trilogy!

I don't like when smart people are dumb. Peter is smart and has spend years being bullied. You think years of being lied to by people, opposed to people being friendly and genuine don't teach you anything by 16? Add in a year of being Spider-Man with those experiences and finally the fact smart people tend to read a conversation quickly even while you are taking.
