Admittedly, I need to be more humble and pray to see His hand more. In my eyes, I'm not the definition of a saint and I have several bad habits I need to kick. This year has been one of the longest and challenging for me aside from the year that my mother passed away. Today is one where I just feel worn down and numb.

It didn't happen overnight but little by little it happened and then little by little I was able to get to the temple. Fast forward since 2005, here I am. @startrekmaniac1701 Our Father in Heaven hates nobody, He is Love through and through - so He surely also loves you and your family. I know this with all my heart. My experience is, if you patiently ask Him why specific hardships happen to you (we certainly have several of those in our own family, e.g. blindness since last year), He will show you what He wants you to learn from them. And He will show you how you can learn from them and how you can even grow to love life and your fellow beings more than before you went through those hardships.
