I am not a mormon and I have listened carefully from Nephi to Moroni and can testify that it's contents are inspired by God. It fits in with the Old and New Testament that I know well and many other surprising things I received from it which I do not mention here.

I know if you do you will find an answer and receive his holy spirit, both the Book of Mormon and the Bible are testaments of Jesus Christ. @@Castle1nth3sky I don't have any witness about Joseph Smith but I do have a witness about the words of Nephi, Alma, Moroni and others. I do not believe the current church is true or in fact any church except someone be a humble follower of Christ with his commands at the forefront of their life to obey them .

My friend gave me a copy while I was researching churches. It was a marked up copy. I thought it was a book on how to be a good member of the church not historical. I had a question of What happens when we die? I opened it to a page written in ink This is what happens when we die. I thought Good start. I continued reading because it did begin to enlarge my soul and I was becoming more receptive to the Spirit. Its a powerful witness of Christ amd His doctrine

The Title Elder comes from Tyndale's english translation which ended up becoming the King James bible minus the 7 Catholic books that were removed by Martin Luther. The original greek used the word Presbitero - priest. Tyndale's translation used the alternate meaning (old man) or Elder. Tyndale pulled off many alternate greek word meanings. Agape became (love) the affection of some useless fellow for his mate. That's probably got him burned at the stake. God rest his soul.

(1) The nemenhah records (book, second complete edition), a third witness. (2) The birch bark scrolls, a forth witness. (3) The gospel of the kailedy, a fifth witness. There are so many to read, so little time. (4) Acts 29.
