I am not into watches at all. Or really time or keeping track of time but I can not believe how much a testament this is what humans are capable of. The highest of the highest art form where all of our past knowledge is represented by a watches of this level.

Really loved Wei Koh's comment regarding the evolution of watches when he compared it to paintings and the rise of photo cameras. This is awesome for so many reasons. This guy seems very basic no fancy clothes simple food cuts his own wood for is cabin creates his own steel a person very in tune with nature but yet he is creating not only one of the most complex creations that a human can do but doing it with great artistry. I would love to meet him

I get it. I didn’t learn about the world and aviation and watch making u til I was single and in my mid 30’s. Now I’m 39. And wish I didn’t give my life to construction and my ex lol. I just welded and raced motorcycles. Now I’m seeking something better and in my wheelhouse. But at my age. We have to do it all on our own. No training no teaching. My own research and experience and money. -what’s left- Now I’m “hey , young ppl, look at this. Try this. It’s wonderful. You don’t need to work at a bank. Be a pilot, be a watch maker, jewelry maker etc. you will love working with your hands way more than anything else
