As a 4C owner myself i completely agree with all your comments. People who have never even sat in one will tell you how bad the car is. People that own them all understand how much fun the car is. The looks, the rareity, the fun factor all add to the cars unique appeal............also, i daily mine! 😊

Good to see you back in an Alfa 4C. So funny as I had a CS when you met me. Now you have a CS and I have a 4C! I think it is the best sports car in the world for under £100,000. It is essential to have the geometry done by Alfaworks, Michelin PS4S tyres, Stage 1 tune (increases power to 280bhp) and a decent exhaust. I did over 160mph in mine on the Autobahn.
@gpapa315 ай бұрын
How much do all those Alfaworks modes roughly total to? Also, what made you give away the CS and what differences can you spot in terms of driving experience. Drive safe and with a smile.
@roytrevisan34915 ай бұрын
I had the same tune AND tires (and a Capristo exhaust mod) and it made the car spectacular. Sooo under rated.
@arjanvandenbrand20704 ай бұрын
I have mine remapped as well, GMS uniball rear suspension but no front blocks as I like the liveliness and tramlining (probably unpopular opinion)
@RobertKarlBerta4 ай бұрын
@@arjanvandenbrand2070 Always go with better tires ASAP on a 4C ( I personally believe the decision to put the PZeros on the car was a bad one. They emphasize tramming and all around performance compared to other good tires was just not there. Michelin or Continentals or Bridgestones are so much better. With better tires and front toe set to 0 you really don't need the blocks unless your car is going to be spending a lot of time on track where the additional negative camber will help.... but not as good for street use as more tire wear in every day use. I have the GMS uniballs in my rear lower struts and that is a game changer. Keeps the camber from changing under hard cornering so a lot better feedback and consistent feel. I have a 2015 LE I bought new and still love it very much. The 4Cs proved to be a very reliable car and bullet proof on track days.

The 4C is a go kart for the street. A friend has one and its so fun and exotic. Yes you could buy a AMG RS or M for the same price on the second hand market and have way more power and speed. But it wont be as fun. Besides that it gets a lot of looks because its look really cool and exotic. While a AMG RS or M barely gets attention. Its a piece of art. (It would have been better with a manual tho)
@RobertKarlBerta5 ай бұрын
Can't agree about the manual trans. Put in manual mode and shift it if your like. Only thing you loose is the clutch..... but you can't shift as fast or perfect as a computer on a DCT. I have had lots of manual trans and frankly the DCT on the 4C in manual mode is just about perfect.

It has supercar characteristics. But I would classify it as an exotic sports car and yes, this is one of the best deals out there at the moment. Buy one now before everybody catches on . STG, T4YC. I did suggest this to you, and from memory I think I offered you my 4C? Glad you've done it. But the Spider is much heavier than the Coupe, as is the US spec car. I have had 165mph on a track, and there was more to come, so the "run out of puff on a straight" is a bit much. I was out in a Taycan yesterday, on a track, and at over 130mph you are aware of the massive weight of the car, and your reliance purely on mechanical grip is alarming. That paint work is shockingly bad. What were they thinking?
