Part of the appeal for this car is the fact it doesn't have power steering quite honestly. My current car is an FF layout without power steering, and THAT is a pig when parking. Comparing it to say a MR car without power steering I've driven (MR2), which was far more enjoyable and easier to park.

Sam really love watching your stuff & this is a great honest review without any of the bull crap you sometimes get in magazines etc with this car! It's really nice that you acknowledge the fact that a lot of the problems are down to our rubbish roads is a breath of fresh air! I have a alfa 159 JTS TI 2.2 (petrol) It's my 1st car - 2008 model and quite a few things you mentioned I have noticed with my car as well, highway driving you have to drive the car, it's not just accelerate and forget. Great car!

To me this is so much more interesting than say getting a R8, the R8 is nice you see them everywhere now. Those lights are only for the launch edition the normal model version gets light like the standard ones the U.S. is getting

Alfa Romeo sits right in between VW and Audi, when it comes to image. But Imagine VW or Audi make something like the 4C... They wouldn't. That's why Alfa Romeo, is still so special.

Baerchenization It's not that flashy...not that polished kind of gold. I can't stand those rims either. But i like those. They just look right. I call it the hot wheels effect. If it looks like so much chrome that you think it's plastic. You see it a lot on musclecars, especially mustangs.

IMO those gold painted wheels suit the car brilliantly! And the black lower "sideskirt" thingies, as that color combo (red - black - gold) reminds me of the classic (racing) Alfa-Romeos from 1960's and -70's.

4c is a beautiful unique light weight sport car. Great reviews. Handling should be quite well and fun to drive. I haven't seen one in Orange County, Southern California yet! I could imagine it would be difficult to get parts in US. As Alfa Romeo is rare here. Although it may takes some time starting to get popular like FERRARI, Lamborghini and Maserati. Nice. That's fun watching the drive through London. I would suggest the background music a bit lower so that I could hear the noise it makes. I also wonder how it is in practical use such as maintenance costs? How is it rain? On your point about its external looks probably just what I need to compare i to the Cayman but the Cayman's interior makes the comparison hard again. The exhaust noise seems need fixing, whether is it sound dampening or larger exhaust, I don't know. Regarding tram lines, I believe it is because of the thinner width tires which is why it follows it.
