Look at literally any competitive list and you’ll see that red eyes is NO WHERE unless it’s specifically darkness metal or Dragun.

The burn deck was my setup pretty much, loved this deck and I consider it my main, it's just so fun and that was before all the little upgrades it got through other cards coming out like the bystials plus the actual red eyes cards they gave it Also little note to Reax, you cant summon a monster face up, but you can set it after using Red eyes fusion which is something I realized later lol

@@akaneriyun4774 One copy of vanilla Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes, Blue-Eyes Alt or Dragon Spirit of White depending on your Extra Deck preferences, and Red-Eyes Black Flare to double as a normal or effect monster. That's four of the five cards for a starting hand. Also, you can use Red-Eyes Baby to search White Stone of (Legend/Ancient). Heart of the cards.

I absolutely love this method and can see this play in the anime, like Kaiba vs Joey one last match for joey to get the dub, Joey decked out in black has finally mastered the potential of red eyes in order to get the win and summons red meteor dragon but kaiba ends up destroying in. Kaiba, all cocky and already claiming his victory because joey has no cards in his hand and only one card on the field that wasn't activated the last 2 turns, joey activates his last trap with a cool smile, "My last trap card!" He says, revealing it to be "Red-eyes burn" and in the anime, it would show the soul of the original red-eyes behind Joey and the inferno fire blast, blowing past kaiba and his blue-eyes to win the game. Capping off with a minor pop off from a matured joey and a respectful nod from kaiba, showing that his potential and red-eyes's CAN reach Kaiba's. That would be sick.

9:10 Okay, I think I can explain why red eyes burn took so long to be activated. Effects activate in a certain order: turn player mandatory, opponent mandatory, turn player optional, opponent optional (with interruptions being usable whenever). Red eyes burn was optional, so you had to wait till all mandatory effects and his optional effects went off to use it. Note: I do not have a PHD in dueling, so this may not be entirely accurate, but it gets the general point across.
