For the $74 it is hard to beat for a backup meter and network cable tester. What more can be said really. That was a really honest and to the point description of what a person can expect when buying this unit. . A person like myself that does network cabling for a living would not use this for production work, however using it to verify a few patch cords and as a back up, this would great. Nice presentation Ape.

Appreciate the test. As always great content I find I can trust. You're right about that light. I'm sure it would have been less intrusive than my phone's flashlight when examining a switch and cabling on the wall of an open bay hooch with people sleeping all around.

An accuracy test of the cable length measurement would be helpful. A test using cables of known length, such as 25', 50', 100', 150', 200', 250' would be very telling. This is an area that many of these inexpensive testers do poorly with and needs to be evaluated before relying on it.

Is there a solution to the problem of the device turning off after about 30 minutes, and this is what made me hate the device? Is there a solution? Thank you very much.

You can also buy additional remote ID wiremap terminals (set of 3 pcs or 7 pcs). I think it is worth mentioning. Thanks for the video 👍

Hey has anyone got one of these with the Id remotes? I'm having trouble testing incorrectly wired cables. I hoped it would be like other network wiremap testers with a pass and fail on testing. To test I made up a patch cable incorrectly on purpose. At just one of the ends I swapped the brown white and the brown wires to test but the tester doesn't tell me there's a fault and also I noticed id7 is reporting id3.

Has it worked for u can it also detect poe..I have seen in noyafa vdo to change network map remote map to match the I'd on unit do u like this or you would buy another If u have to make choice again
