U know the man can actually sing when the mic is basic af, has no muffler and the voice is clear as hell and on point...Shaun is amazing!
@TheUnknownReject4 жыл бұрын
well, they clearly did a lot of mixing, I mean it's a radio station.
@MrManAmong3 жыл бұрын
That’s not a basic mic. It’s a radio station. And did you mean “has no pop filter”? Cuz I’m not sure how a muffler would help here. Those belong on cars, not in a studio. Doesn’t sound like you know much about music production. Maybe just stick to giving opinions instead of what you think are facts lol
@endoffate54752 жыл бұрын
@@MrManAmong Well a muffler might not be the rigth word but he is right, theres no effects on his voice except mabe a bit of compression..I dunno why you have to be a dick about it when hes clearly just giving a compliment. You dotn think shaun in a good singer?
@themisinstructed1652 жыл бұрын
@@MrManAmong there was a muffler in music, it’s no longer known as that tho, it’s now just known as noise cancellation.

It seems like every day's the same And I'm left to discover on my own It seems like everything is gray And there's no color to behold They say it's over And I'm fine again, yeah Try to stay sober Feels like I'm dying here And I am aware now Of how everything's gonna be fine One day, too late, I'm in Hell I am prepared now Seems everyone's gonna be fine One day, too late, just as well I feel a dream in me expire And there's no one left to blame it on I hear you label me a liar 'Cause I can't seem to get this through You say it's over I can sigh again, yeah Why try to stay sober When I'm dyin' here? And I am aware now Of how everything's gonna be fine One day, too late, I'm in Hell I am prepared now Seems everyone's gonna be fine One day, too late, just as well And I'm not scared now I must assure you You're never gonna get away And I'm not scared now And I'm not scared now, no I am aware now Of how everything's gonna be fine One day, too late, I'm in hell I am prepared now Seems everyone's gonna be fine One day, too late, just as well I am prepared now Seems everything's gonna be fine For me, for me, for myself For me, for me, for myself For me, for me, for myself I am prepared now for myself I am prepared now and I am fine again

This is one of those songs that means something different for everyone. For me it pretty much sums up most of the years after returning from an exceptionally long deployment in Iraq from 2005-2007. Gone for 2 years and everyone just moved on. You come home and expect things to be the same, even though you're told repeatedly by everyone who has been on a deployment that they wont. Nothings the same, especially yourself.

I think this song defines that era of veterans at least for a lot of us. I left in 06 and after I came back never really reconnected with anyone. I feel like all those connections are gone and everyone I was serving with are living in other places. Really sucks. hard to make new friends too. I don’t have any close friends anymore but it’s alright. this song always makes me feel like it’s gonna be alright eventually

From the day I first heard him sing, his voice does something to the pit of my stomach that cannot be described and shouldn't be shared with my beloved husband. I remember searching endlessly for this song. All I could remember was “everything’s gonna be fine, one day too late I’m in hell.” My older brother used to play it all the time, and he somehow didn’t know which song I was talking about. This song brings back so many memories from childhood. It’s such a masterpiece.
