He wrote this song when he was 16 after his parents divorce. The signs are of people bearing their inner most thoughts/secrets. He has since dedicated this song sirong concerts to Dave Williams, Dimebag Darrel. A snippet from an interview/article says: "This is about how you can be fine again after a breakup. Lead singer Shaun Morgan wrote it when his parents got divorced to reflect how he was feeling at the time. He was in the middle of the divorce and going through a lot of pain."

Didn't rock with them a decade ago. I do now because I relate more. They're a phenomenal band.

Seether has their own sound. When a song begins instantly you know who the band is...love that about them😁👌 Great deep lyrics too.

*Seether's great! Have you reacted to Evanessence "Call Me When You're Sober"? Amy Lee dated Shawn(lead singer). They broke up and Amy wrote that song about it. Loving your reactions💜*

And Shaun wrote about her in Breakdown. I think it was a marriage that shouldn't have ended like this. But both are married again and hopefully happy.

He was definitely taking sips of something from that red cup the other day lol. Spot on. But I was lucky enough to get to chat with Shaun Morgan after the concert and what a cool guy!

GASOLINE is probably my favorite Seether song that you haven’t reacted to.... and then, Rise Above This.

I realize every person has their issues. I interpret this song as saying people drink to escape their hell whatever that may be. I drink a few beers everyday to forget my say after work. My son does not like beer. Him and his buddies skip the beer and go straight to the vodka. Hopefully they don’t get this low as the story in this sad song.
