So glad you stuck to Fine Again. It's early Seether, and I feel is a better representation than Broken ft. Amy Lee, even if it is a less heavy song of theirs. That, and everyone listens to Broken. Don't get me wrong, great song, but it's honestly better without Amy Lee. If you'd like a more heavy Seether song, I'd recommend Gasoline or Let You Down.
@ominaeownsyu3 жыл бұрын
I actually share your opinion on broken being better without amy lee, love her voice but she overpowers that song and it just doesn't fit (for me at least)

Love is something I've welcomed, it's also elusive by my own design as elusion I use as a defense mechanism. I've lived a strange roller coaster type of life and sometimes I'm way too protective of self letting love slip on by for the most part. Been taking more time as I've aged to forgive myself, to respect myself, to love myself. Things will never be perfect but when I take the time appreciate how far I've made it in life it feels good when I think of the impact I've made on some, talking others off ledges and giving others support when I couldn't support myself. It's taking some time for wisdom to catch up and as it does bit by bit wounds continue healing. Little by little it brings peace.

Also, if you want another heavy hitting Seether track, there's Rise Above This. It was written for Shaun Morgan's (lead signer) brother, who committed suicide, and is a powerful video and song.
@cjmitch913 жыл бұрын
Side note to this. Rise Above This was originally written for his brother who at the time was struggling with an undisclosed issue. But before the album was to be released, he did what he did. So the sing then became a song for Shaun and eventually a song for a lot of people who deal with the damage suicide can do to not only the person but those who love them. Very good song. One of my personal favorites from them. Side note. Be there for those you love. You never know what a person is going through.
@ingloriousbetch4302 Жыл бұрын
@@cjmitch91it wasn't an undisclosed issue. Shaun said eugene had attempted suicide before so he wrote the song ro show him how much he cared but didn't get to play it for him before he died. Here's an interview snippet Shaun did about it: "In our (SongFacts) interview with Shaun Morgan, he told us that this song was written slightly before his brother's suicide. "It was about an attempt that he had made on his own life," Morgan explained. "The idea was to write a song that if I could play it to him, that it would make him feel better. And unfortunately I never got a chance to play it for him. So it was written just before, like a couple of weeks prior to him dying." When we asked Shaun if he thought his brother might really take his own life, he replied: 'I never thought that it was a serious attempt. I thought the first time that it was an accidental thing. So I don't think that I, in my mind, thought that it was something that would be repeated. I didn't at all think that he was serious about it. I just wanted to write something to let him know that I cared about him.' "

South African Rock Band Seether Members Shaun Morgan Dale Stewart & Corey Lowery They've been performing since 1999 they're biggest inspiration is definitely "NIRVANA" and Kurt Cobain they even did a cover of one of their all-time famous songs You Know You're Right and Something in the Way Morgan also dated Amy Lee of the Band Evanescene how ever they broke up because of his past problems with an alcohol addiction of his but he is in good spirit happy married and has a Daughter Amy Lee the same thing but they aren't friends In 2004 they released Broken before the breakup and she made a song called "Call When You're Sober" and Shaun said in his called Fine Again his lyric "Why Try To Stay Sober When I'm Dying" 😢💔💔💔 Shaun almost committed suicide but to know avail he said I'm happy to alive and I want to stay with my family and friends.

Oh God so many great seether songs. Rise above this is about him trying to cheer up his bro before his brother ultimately killed himself days later. And the video is after his death. He's literally crying in it. It breaks me as a person. But u should also check out the other o.g. best underrated Rock band of the 2000s breaking benjamin. My personal opinion is breathe is there best song, but literally there isn't a bad song on any album. Even though the softer new album of remakes isn't my cup of tea, even that is phenomenal

You and I don't know one another but I could see that you have been going through some things in your life and this song brought it all to the forefront in your mind. You asked how do you know if someone loves you. Love is out flowing away from the self. Love is outgoing concern for another. We are all going through something in this life. This world is messed up but there is hope coming in the near future. That hope is the return of a All Powerful and Righteous Jesus Christ coming as God to right all of this evil world's ills. He's coming to wipe away all tears and to put down all sin and to show a deceived and wicked mankind the only way to peace and joy brimful and running over! We are going to have peace brought to us by the LIVING GOD! He will make those that fear His name to live in happiness and peace and none shall make them afraid!
