Normally I don't reach out like this upon hearing music, truthfully, I'm not that into social media at all. However, just hearing your song save today for the first time, I wanted to reach out and thank you for writing it and performing it it absolutely touched me deep down in my core. My fiance unexpectedly passed away a couple of months ago, ever since that day all I do is cry and I'm on autopilot I haven't quite figured out how to exist without him I didn't think I would ever have to but alas here I am. With that being said, every second of my life since that fateful Saturday, March 26th 2022, has been a smorgasbord of mixed emotions, just an absolute unsurmiserable amount of pain that I can't quite seem to find the words to express myself or to at least describe what I'm feeling and it's very aggravating to me on many levels. When I heard the words of your song honestly it was the first time I felt anything at all really since that day other than pain, I felt understanding within myself that I have been unable to feel, this too made me cry lol but in a different way. I feel that when an artist can bring out such a raw emotions in us it shouldn't be ignored it should be praised. So I am reaching out to you although you will probably never see this, then again I don't know like I said I'm not too big on the internet social scene, but either way I wanted to send my comment out into the world because even if you don't personally see it maybe it will help another person in some sort of way. I just want to make you aware that you touched someone's soul today, someone who has all but just about given up, through your music you showed me that I actually can still feel and my meeting that so badly at this time and I found it down in avenue I never would have expected really touched me and I am grateful. Kudos to you and yours keep on keeping on, you truly have a gift and I appreciate you sharing it with me.

As someone who recently lost their fiancé who had a similar life to this amazing man... I can tell you that the 'emotion' is strong in every lyric he sings. People who have been through, or are going through something similar, and have been doing so for such a long time condition themselves to appear 'numb' and unless you have seen this yourself it may be hard to see and feel someone's emotion... so please don't say he has no emotion when singing because I can feel it and see it in every song he sings.

My wife died on the 8 May, 2020. People always ask if it was COVID-19 related, but it wasn't, though she did pass away from prolonged pneumonia from having an autoimmune disease (Sjogren's Disease). She was only 41. She asked me to have the remove the bipap mask that was keeping her alive. She could have lived up to 3 more days, at most, but I made the hardest choice that I have made in life, yet, to do it, and I asked the nurses to remove it. Her last words were, "I just want to go to sleep," and then she squeezed my hand, and said, "what is happening to me?" And then she closed her eye and she was gone. I think I listen to this song about everyday thinking about her. She deserved so much more and so much better than what life gave her. She did good things for the world. She helped kids make sure that they got their financial aid, at about any cost, by learning the entire federal manual. She found others scholarships. She feed the "poorest students" who couldn't afford their meals. She volunteered lots of time at the soup kitchen, and had me pass out McDonald's double cheeseburgers about every Saturday night off the curb when the kitchen was closed because the thought of anyone going to sleep hungry killed her because she grew up dirt poor and knew what it felt like to go to sleep hungry. She earned her M.B.A. while working full time with 5 children at home, the youngest with emotional disorder, and a stubborn daughter from her first marriage to a guy who also not only cheated with every male and female sailor that looked twice at him, but beat the fuck out of her every time she got upset and tried to leave, and when she got away he weaponized the daughter to keep presenting the same mental abuse and when something was done to try and prevent her from acting like that, he made his daughter believe that she was being abused by being forced to see a therapist, or having to learn about budgets or that you have to contribute to cleaning the house, or that you can't call hispanics "spics," Jewish people the k-word, or Muslims "ragheads" just because your daddy does it, and especially not to our part middle eastern, part Indian Muslim therapist's face that the state pays to come into the home to give your brother the extra therapy he needs just because your dad doesn't believe in it, nor believes that the boy has a mental illness. When she was 12, we were leaving my wife's mom and dad's and her daughter had him on the phone, and she said, "Daddy told me to tell you that you need a real man that will tell you how life works, and will physically correct you when you're out of line." God was I fuck8ing pissed he'd do that his own daughter, when I was trying to teach my own daughters about being independent and loyal to themselves and their bodies first. Sad, and angry today about the way her own kid did her, and I am missing her so much.

absolutely....especially when life throws shit into your face....i turn to them, their music and the meaning for salvation so to speak in my own weird way...it rejuvenates me and i heal to some sort and begin to live righted and stout again.their music and content are like my counseling without outwardly assistance...it makes me understand im not the only one who has or does have those moments of self awareness. thank you guys ...game changers for real.......

I'm the guy with fauxhawk in background with the black shirt and for those wondering what video is about we were told it represents the highs and lows of being a rockstar/celebrity hence the beginning where we were all grabbing like we were fans and then turning on them throwing food at them then all of a sudden rocking out with them these guys are relaxed and were not full of themselves like other bands I've met and were great to just talk to

Well fortune favor's not the young Spoken word's and song's unsung, right? I never learned from my mistakes I guess I don't have what it takes, right? I wish that I was strong, that I could walk away All this time I've lost, I feel the cost repaid So save today, the secret's that you prayed for And wait, cause we deserve it so much more So save, the secret's that your prayed for, awake I'll see you on the other side A tortured soul have I become It keep's me safe and leaves me numb, right? 'Cause in this dream I'm wide awake The one I love I did forsake, right? I wish that I was wrong, that you'll come home again All this time I've lost, I'll never find again So save today, the secret's that you prayed for And wait, cause we deserve it so much more So save, the secret's that you prayed for, awake I'll see you on the other side Say you can help me now So save today, the secret's that you prayed for And wait, cause we deserve it so much more So save, the secret's that you prayed for, awake I'll see you on the other side So save today, the secret's that you prayed for And wait, cause we deserve it so much more So save, the secret's that you prayed for, awake I'll see you on the other side

"A totruted soul have I become, It keeps me safe and leaves me numb.. Right. Cause in this dream I'm wide awake, the one I love I did forsake.. Right." This song is absolutely powerful. Credit to Seether, the lyris, instruments, solos... they make songs that are enjoyable from start to finish. His lyrics can be so relatable and being a early 90s kid, I listened to these guys quite a bit. I never expected them to age this well though. I'm happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve after staying strong for so long. Never change.
