I have seen them 3 times now. First time was awesome, saw Lizzy Hale do the Broken duet with him...it was great. Second time they were garbage and I left the show early (probably some bad juju going on in the back ground, only time I have ever left a show early). Glad to say no I saw them in Cincinnati with Breaking Benjamin this year. They were awesome. Glad they were back on top. He is so effortless in his performance and his vocals. True talent and I am very glad they brought their A game to that show. They brought me back around as a fan and moved up my list of bands to be listening to.

@@natewunn Lizzy Hale would be awesome to hear duet, “Broken”. I would prefer just about anyone but Amy Lee to duet it in any capacity. But, my personal best time seeing it performed was Just Shaun Morgan playing his acoustic guitar & signing the version he intended the song to be. Seether has maintained their identity, even now. Fine Again and Rise Above This helped me get to a point where I feel good for the first time in 43 years. When I hear this song, it reminds me what I accomplished and how I’m never going back. This is my FU to depression, anxiety, my family, bad relationships, self-doubt, self-loathing, and every other force (mostly internal ones) that held me back.

Ugh! The days when rockstars would air one another's dirty laundry in front of the world haha. The songs were so personal.

William: songs are supposed to do this: wake us up to pay attention & feel the pain. Seether is very good at this.

In this case it was appropriate. Boy did these two people make some cultural contributions--despite a bit of frothiness.

I laughed so hard when I found the cover for this album years later. Cause it is so blatantly Amy on the cover . No subtlety at all

The first song I’ve listened from seether was Fine again. It was in a snowboarding game on the GameCube years ago. Been a fan ever since but as I got older I realized the depth of the music videos especially this one. There’s layers of metaphors that I get every time I watch this video. It’s the epitome of dating even after 14 years. The human mind is like this cube it’s an ever changing puzzle that every now and again reveals us amongst everything that goes through our minds on a daily basis. The fact that this woman is going though his mind and then having the nerve to bring out or pull out parts of him she sees and or wants from him is like that of a controlling and manipulative person. Only highlighting the things that stick out to them, mostly negative. Include the lyrics of how everything had to revolve around her which doesn’t give proper judgement or understanding of the person he really is. This is a very powerful yet sad message. Selfish people don’t know compassion, they don’t have patience, and they don’t want to work things out unless it benefits them. We all have demons and battles that we filter everyday and to have someone we trust exploit and abuse those areas is truly a damaging dynamic. People can have addictions to anything that is self destructive and selfishness in my opinion is more addicting than any drug or alcohol abuse because it’s not detected as a problem and is used often to destroy the lives of others and even ourselves.

That's how I first heard them too! 1080!! After that I never played another song in that game. Even now on emulators I will only play fine again.

cause i'm so much more....than meets the eye... for those of you in abusive relationships, you can make it and you deserve so much more.

My bipolar I think made my ex abusive... We was together 20 years...I still miss him . We been broken up for 3 now... He took care of me . I was and am very sick with bipolar 1.. this was a song that describes how I felt after we had a fight that usually ended up with me being beat up and hatted for running our relationship into the ground.... It was my bipolar 1 that triggered him...I figured this out during my 3 years alone and still being very very sick. In fact I'm more sick now.... Sad but most men would of walked away and not even stay for 20 and not even accepted my deep regret and sorry.

I believe the reason this band is so incredible is because they write all their own music. The lyrics are up for interpretation.....

I interpreted it as the possibility that he has actually begun to "break down" psychologically - "I'm so much more than meets the eye" sounded like he was harboring dangerous thoughts inside his head, and coupled with that knowing smile, it was chilling.

After all these years, I just realized she took off the inter part of his eyes and replaces it with another one (with herself in it)... Forcing him to just see her and nobody else. Deep meaning and I couldn't relate more to this song. This song and video are perfection.

Could be. It looked like the age old dilemma of keeping or getting rid of pictures/videos of exes to me. Chick finds his stash and tosses it out and puts her own pics in. I've seen it happen and its always a thing for the guys that the woman is wrong and vise versa for women. The way I see it is a woman has no right to destroy or get rid of his property and precious memories. On the other hand if he's clinging to them that says he still has emotional or sexual attachment there. Both sides would be signs of toxic relationship. In those cases the man made grounds for feeling insecure and did not step into the relationship willing to let go of the past. She discovers this and makes attempts to push the other women out and force herself into his thoughts and heart, also toxic. You can't force those things but you can't fully be in a relationship clinging onto those memories. Thats my take on that part.

In 2009, i remember asking my wife, as we were both heavily addicted to heroin, will i ever wake up and care if the sun shines or if there's anything beautiful in this world. We've both been clean since 2010. And we're still together. She's my soul mate. And I'll never understand how we got lost in that hell. But I'm so grateful for her and for the streee found to beat it together. Back then, I was nothing with her. Today, I'm nothing without her. She is my motivation to keep going. And I love how beautiful she is and how beautiful life is with her by my side.
