See U? Isn’t it curious how one Sphinx threw itself off a cliff? And there is only one Sphinx left on the plateau. Btw entering the city between the Sphinxes, the left one was torn down. All that remains is a depression that sometimes fills with water. The shafts underground were filled in. Perhaps after the sacking of Egypt? But when it was torn down. What cliff did they throw it off of? May be worth a look.

Our ancient cultures reminds us how important animals were to them. They made gods and demons out of them.
@MarcusCato275
@MarcusCato275 2 жыл бұрын
I would say they admired the characteristics of animals rather than animals in and of themselves. Ancient Egyptians depicted their gods as animals to convey the characteristics of their gods. The Egyptian God Hathor was sometimes depicted as a cow however the Egyptians ate beef as part of their diet unlike Hindus who venerate cows (believing the cow has characteristics of God) and abstain from eating beef. There is no link where cultures who use animal forms to depict their deities would respect ordinary animals as deities.

There are no such thing as Egyptian Sphinxes. Only Greeks had them and only the Ptolemaic Greeks after conquering Egypt decided the figure at Giza would be/become a sphinx.. before that it really would be more closely associated as a jackal-lion-falcon Harpie
@eingoluq

False. Sphinxes originate in ancient Egypt. The Sphinx of Egypt is clearly of the body of a lion and not a dog. I en the pose is typical of a cat. The lion is a regal animal and as such would more likely be used for the Egyptian large Sphinx rather than a dog.

the riddle of the Sphinx goes like this. "what walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three in the evening?" the answer to this is simple, humanity. we walk on all fours as babies then as we get older, we're able to walk on two legs but the older we get we require a cane which acts as a third leg.

You were so close. Good video and good art, but if I’m honest, I’m kinda upset that you didn’t include the Akhekhu dragon/serpent/chimeric monster that is the aspect of Set, and symbolizes his more chaotic and dangerous natures and roles. It gets way too little attention.

I've always wondered though. Why does academia refer to ancient cultures beliefs as mythology? However religions practiced today have the term theology. Is this implying that today's religions are the real deal, and those bygone cultures just made things up? No one refers to Christianity or Islam with the term mythology.

Well, I suppose it's because those cultures did not survive to today, so they don't have enough valid representation in modern society arguing for their credibility. In the event that Islam or Christianity dies out someday, future generations will also refer to them as mythology. It's simple as that

Truth in plain sight! 🦁If you calculate this year 2022 minus the year the 1st Mona Lisa died 1542=480 years, the same amount of time from Exodus to the rebuild of the new temple in the bible. She has started the rebuild. The 2nd Mona Lisa is the Bride of Christ the root of David, Queen of Heaven and Earth. 🦁the initials in her eye is her name initials 🦁the V & 5 sceneries are the 5 places the 2nd Lisa has lived in after marriage. 🦁The 12 pins firstly in a shape of a cup represents her surname 🦁secondly around her head in X-ray represents 12 stars just like in Revelation signifying her holiness. She was the 1st human female 🦁Triangle =The trinity is Mother/Father God, Son Jesus & Daughter Lisa. Lisa meaning is God’s Promise. 🦁The right hand over the left signifies she is the right hand of God. 🦁The number under the bridge 75 is the year son of God was born in human form. 🦁His other paintings link the Mona Lisa to them as well, the crab sketch represents her star sign Cancer. 🦁The ferret and lady represents what the 2nd Mona Lisa was called as a child. 🦁Portrait of a woman represents her eldest daughter. Her youngest daughter is painted as saint Anne 🦁The last supper shows the Mona Lisa incarnation of Mary and the cup as her to be surname. 🦁The twist in her fabric on her shoulder represents Gods humour & twist to the biblical story, savior is female this time. 🦁her soul was also incarnated as Ishtar, Isis
