In this video, I start the morning fishing for snook using artificial lures north of Tampa Bay, Florida. After seeing a ton of fish while only one bite all morning, I decided to catch some live bait. I was able to cast net about 2 dozen big threadfins or greenbacks (threadfin herring) and returned to the spot I was previously at. It didn't take long for the snook to start eating the baits. I show you my free-line live bait rig for snook and how I hook my threadfins. I end up catching my biggest snook of the year thus far!
