When you think of this Greek moussaka, a Potato and Minced Meat Moussaka with EGGPLANT, you can't resist it.
The combination of minced meat, fried potato slices, and pan-fried eggplant, not to mention the so-called Bechamel sauce!
All these ingredients work very well together and make the dish truly brilliant.

Ingredients for Greek Moussaka:
1 kg beef, lamb, pork, or even poultry;
2 large eggplants, approximately 2 kg;
500 g potatoes;
2 large onions;
100-150 g mature cheese (Parmesan is used in the recipe);
2 egg whites;
1 clove of garlic;
4-5 sprigs of regular thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried), or lemon thyme;
4-5 sprigs of fresh oregano, or 1 teaspoon dried;
2 bay leaves;
500 ml tomato juice;
25 g tomato paste;
1 teaspoon salt;
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper;
20 g butter for greasing the baking dish;
150-200 ml oil for frying the potatoes and eggplants;
100 ml olive oil for the meat;
1 bunch of fresh parsley;
For the moussaka sauce:
125 g 82% fat butter;
125 g wheat flour;
1 liter of milk;
3 whole eggs and 2 egg yolks;
