Hi I'm buying thias kit. My questions is a did you cut the top screw or the protection iron on the case? Except for the guide, did you just cut the coil?

I removed the coil and also cut the top screw :)

Just a friendly suggestion put some insulating tape between the various solder points and the back of the screen.
