Sega Genesis Model 2 sound issue

Caps usually don't cause problems like this, so i would discard those as being the possible cause. And if this is happening with all of the games i guess it could be something to do with either the main ASIC or the crystal oscillator.

As a amateur console repair dude I have 4 theories. 1. cartridge pins (probable) 2. Broken game cartridge (maybe) 3. Repro cart (least probable) 4. Bad sound chip or capacitors (probable)
