Wow! Excellent time. I can't get any lower than 6:43 in the arcade. Does manual transmission give a big boost? I don't seem to remember my cars top speed been anywhere near this and I can't shave any time off, even though I'm almost perfect through all corners. Was this arcade or console?

This is done on Sega Rally 3, not Sega Rally Online Arcade. I used Teknoparrot to play the game.

@@Brionac1995 Sorry, perhaps not explained very well by me. I was talking about Sega Rally 3 also, but the physical arcade machine version in my local arcade. I was wondering if there was a difference in versions as cars don't seem as fast in the arcade, and I'm hitting almost every corner perfectly. I just can't see how I would shave off almost 20 seconds, maybe a few seconds.

@@mr2nut123 I think manual transmission plays a role, because on most tracks you want to keep the 6th gear all the time, expect for Alpine. But I'm not aware of actual differences between game versions.

MT usually will always be the faster choice in arcade racers.
