So much music in the left foot! I mean it’s there in all of you here, but that left foot is notable - free, supportive, vocal. ❤️

Beautiful cymbal work on some beautiful cymbals. I've been practice-playing to this duo of two Masters for a while after hearing their live Talavera jazz performance on KZbin. Love comping to Billie's Bounce from that performance although they take a while to find a comfortable tempo. Segment (aka Diverse) by Charlie Parker sounds similar to me to the changes of Softly As In A Morning Sunrise. Classic BeBop tune. There is a jaw-dropping version live from 2002 (7/5/22 in Vienna, not to be confused with another performance in Spain '02) performed by drummer and bandleader Roy Haynes with Christian McBride and -- playing the hell out of it -- David Kikoski, Nicholas Payton and Kenny Garrett. More jazz and trio work always welcome.

I like how after that 1st intro/buzz roll (0:15) you don't hit the 1 at all really, it's just left on it's own while you drift onto that lefthand crashride. Good thinking, sir.
