Love this teaching! This helps me with sermon prep. I added that mourning should start with our own sin and then work itself mercifully to our community.

As a therapist, I use this passage with christian clients. Often with males who believe that men shouldn't cry. I use it to make a piont that mourning is the only way to heal emotional wounds and loss, that it's nothing to be afraid of and that if you have courage to mourn, you will feel better afterwards. Unfortunately, we live in a culture where it's more ok for men to be drunk than to cry. God bless you, sir.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Bring yourself back to the present. No matter how simple or silly, think about why you are grateful. It could be a warm comfy blanket, it could be heat and being protected from the elements, or even food! Take a few moments to be grateful for 3 things. We sometimes forget we get to choose what we focus on. Bringing yourself back to the present now moment helps us through tumultuous times... When the Bible was being edited by the Pharisee and Sanhedrin, who later took the titles: Pope and the Council of Cardinals... They deliberately broke the Lord's prayer. Recognize that the Father wants a personal relationship with you, and he desires that you want one with him. That means... You have your part in this! Do! Your! Part! So... When you pray to the Father, remember: the words are for you to build a vision with him. In essence: Tell-A-Vision: to the Father. Let him see it all: in your mind. (100-dollar bills raining down, a pile like autumn leaves... Me: hand-in-hand with my beloved twin-flame, running around, kicking them and laughing. WOW!) Be clear, get precise, aim for accuracy and FREQUENCY (pun intended!). Ask, believe, and receive. Anger. Let us deal with anger. If you are angry about something that happened three weeks ago, it's because you have a muscle in your stomach, you know the one, that is a chemical junkie... This muscle was present when that particular memory was created and stored. And it calls out that chemical signature, and forces you to re-live that moment, so it can feed, you have not been angry in a long time, you've been duped. Bamboozled. And now that you know, what are you going to do, be fake angry? As soon as you begin to feel angry about anything from the past... Stop it! Just take a look around you, and know nothing happened to you NOW, unless it actually did. And if it did, that's the only thing you can be truly angry about. Faith is simply loyalty. Loyalty to the fact that you asked, loyalty to the fact that you believed. Stay loyal, stay faithful, and you'll receive. As for the judgement room that we have all heard of, well, it may surprise you to learn that that room is in your head, and it's running constantly... Do not end your prayers with 'Amen'. To you, this has always meant the prayer has ended. And in that, you're right. It's over. End your prayers, instead, with: So Be It. This way the energy of the prayer, moves with you, into the eternal now... Tremendous way to finish at night, before bed!🖤👍😍 Thank you my creator, my ancestors, and all the angelic benevolent holy beings, for making me a believer! I'm loving my life and its sacred unfolding! Blessings to all! Peace!

Love it. You are the first to notice I have found the beatitudes are actually commands also. I seen that in Mathew 5:19. Hey Mark I am working on mourning. On seventytwothousand it is a channel on elbmur (spelled backwards). I will be deleting this channel soon when I find one more person a person to join a man in Africa I found to identify all Jesus commands. It wi be the first done in a small group or three. If you want to assist Jesus on this let me know own then. We can publish with someone helping us understand generally what these mean.

Excellent and rare video. Being bitter or avoiding reality of separation with God and man is the opposite of sad about it and getting a blessing to speak the truth in love.

Thankyou for this word sir, I had a question: don’t you think sometimes mourning over sin May look like you’re being judgmental in this day and age where everything is offensive to anyone

Well that's why Jesus says what he does in Matthew 7:1-5. In this passage, he foreshadows the CLEANSING and PURGING of sin that takes place during our initial repentance and salvation. When we are made clean (spiritually-speaking) our eyes are clear enough and CLEAN enough to discern what's in others. But before we are cleansed (i.e when we're still lost and BLINDED by sin) we are unable to discern the sin in others and in the world. Exactly like someone who lives in darkness cannot see the diretc in their home but someone coming in with a flashlight certainly can. So if we are born of the Spirit and the HOLY Spirit indwells, we are most definitely able to see what is unholy...

I think the concept of mourning over sin is a different posture than self-righteousness. You can point to something in a self-righteous way, but to mourn over sin is in alignment with the heart of God.

Which one are you?? (Please stop once and for all saying "we" too). "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1 Peter 4:18) "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful" (Psalm 1:1) Not once in the entire Bible are believers referred to as "sinners". And in the New Testament, regenerate believers (the only kind: John 1:12-13) are called "saints" over 40 times. I mean, have you read Romans 6?? 1st John 3 thru 5?? Jesus's words in John 8:34-36?? "Free INDEED". I wish people would stop being slaves to the traditions and clichés of men and actually start reading Scripture (especially the New Testament) for what it says! The absurd notion that Jesus (whose name means DELIVERER, LOOSENER, RESCUER, SAVIOR FROM SIN: Matthew 1:21) suffered and died and poured out all his blood just to leave us as we are is almost blasphemous. If you don't identify with the following then you have not been "translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light" (Colossians 1:13). "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become NEW" (2 Corinthians 5:17). "But God be thanked, that ye WERE the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. For when ye WERE the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness" (Romans 6:17-18, 20) "when we WERE in the flesh" (Romans 7:5), "and such WERE some of you..." (1 Corinthians 6:11), "And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts" (Galatians 5:24), "And you hath he quickened, who WERE dead in trespasses and sins; wherein in time past ye walkED according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all HAD our conversation in TIMES PAST in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and WERE by nature the children of wrath, even as others. Even when we WERE dead in sins" (Ephesians 2:1-3, 5a), "ye who sometimes WERE far off" (Ephesians 2:13), "Be not ye therefore partakers with them, for ye WERE sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light" (Ephesians 5:7-8), "Who hath DELIVERED us from the power of darkness" (Colossians 1:13), "And you, that WERE sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled" (Colossians 1:21), "Who was BEFORE a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious" (1 Timothy 1:13a), "For we ourselves also sometimes WERE foolish, disobedient, deceived..." (Titus 3:3), "In which ye also walkED (Colossians 3:7), "who was BEFORE a blasphemer and a persecutor...(1 Timothy 1:13), "FORMER lusts" (1 Peter 1:14), "seeing ye HAVE PURIFIED your souls" (1 Peter 1:22), "For ye WERE as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls" (1 Peter 2:25), "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you OUT OF darkness INTO his marvellous light: Which in time PAST were not a people, but ARE NOW the people of God: which had NOW obtained mercy" (1 Peter 2:9-10), "in time PAST...we walkED in lasciviousness, lusts..." (1 Peter 4:3b), "having ESCAPED the corruption that is in the world through lust" (2 Peter 1:4b, 2:20a), "he was PURGED from his old sins" (2 Peter 1:9b)

Jesus DOES cleanse us from sin, and that's undeniably right. But the thing is that even as we believers are cleansed from sin, doesn't deny that human nature is still sinful and rebellious. And we all need to work on becoming Holy and closer to God. For that we need to abstain from sin and keep our eyes on God, but again, due to the human nature, we all trip and fall. If you're not a sinner, you are perfect. But the thing is that no one is perfect because sin has corrupted us. Being a believer doesn't make us perfect, and nothing Will. Repentance is a continious work, which you need to work on every day. At the end of the day, we Are all sinners, but It's through faith, repentance and God's Grace alone which makes us saved.
