hi thanks for making the video, I just got the three parts made and started taking mine apart and when I slid the top part of mine has star nut in there instead of the little screw hold in it in place. any ideas what I can do because I don't now how to get the star nut out to undo the bolt. cheers for any help offered🤣

@@AdamPrice-b2v first you need new Star nut you can buy it to bikestore some have comprest starnuts that you can tight yourself in so you can always remove . to remove old start nut you put thick spacer on top de steertube whit hole in middel take strong bolt screw it tight on spacer in to starnut how tighter you screw the Star nut on spacer the starnut going to Come back on top on steertube its after that you need remove it whit strong flat screwdriver en replaced whit new one

Thanks for replying. I don't quite now what you mean doing that way. Do you think it would be ok to drill out then tap it on the side so it turns sideways the pull it out with long nose pliers or is that to risky, what do you think 🤔

@@AdamPrice-b2v yes you can drill it out to .breaking the rest of the starnut whit hammer wil work to , wat i was meaning was just put top cap on steer tube screw strong bolt back in by overtighting the bolt starnut going to lift up by over tension the bolt in steer tube

Hello Dimitri just received new front shocks from Segway but they're still the same with the spangled nut to get the old ones out but they have no play they must of fixed them.do I have to loosen the bolt that holds suspension inside the piston because I don't want to pull the spangled nut out, is that the only way the forks will drop out or will they come out with some force.😀

You need to print the other plastic part inside steertube that's holding piston en steertube together whit smaller tolerance in the other video I show how to do it greetz
