I've been using mine for over 3 years now, in the US, Israel and Europe, and put over 1200 miles on it. It got ran over by a truck, gone through pouring rain and has never failed me. I commute on it because it's easy to carry around and into buildings so I don't have to leave it outside, and it's just more fun than a scooter or a bike. I can't imagine living without it. Segway's customer service is also excellent, and the low-ish speed keeps it safe.

Right on! I'm glad to hear that. I've met a lot of people who have tried one, but no one around me who really owned and used one.

Great video but you should get the handlebar attachment like the one I have on my channel makes it way more fun

I rode the S-Plus to work and back (under 4 miles) and my inner knees are in pain. Anytime I tried to accelerate faster than a snail, I got pushback. A lady walking her dog was faster than me. I'm returning it and sticking to electric unicycles. 'Bout dat EUC life. BUT...I did enjoy it in the office. Since we are not all officially back, I rode it a little indoors. Shhh.

Yikes. I spent two days on the S and my thighs were a little stiff, but I'm sorry to hear the S-Plus did that to your knees.

The Segway Ninebot S that you tried out, does that have remote access to remotely control the board? At the end of the video it appears it is doing that. I'm only wondering because I just bought one although it hasn't came yet. I was under the impression that the Segway Ninebot S Plus does that only.

I tried my little nephew’s hover board on Christmas Eve, inside their house! Def lots of fun! I was competent enough within about 5 mins, and didn’t knock anything over lol. Not bad for a 59 year old. I would never want to ride anything like this here in Manhattan though, too many potholes and such. Maybe I missed it in your video, but since you only use your feet to navigate, what’s that handle for?

Not bad at all 🙂👍

It's to steer using your knees.

That's really cool but there's just no way a Segway would be viable for a commute in my area. I only live 5 miles from my office but there's ice on them there hills! Still really cool though.

LOL yeah... I suppose we don't get much of that in SoCal...

Really wish I could use this where I live. US infrastructure sucks. Cool product though!
