Hi quick question, in the video you said you are 240lb and 6ft4, Segway website saying that x260 max Weight limit is 220lb. I am myself 245lb, is it going to be an issue on the bike or it’s just going to be slightly slow because of my weight? Thank you for your time

Hey buddy, awesome Segway videos you've been posting. I'm in the process of buying an X260 myself here in AU and your vids have been really helpful. I really like the pedals/cranks idea (& the stickers too!) and am keen to do what you've done there to counter the unwanted attention from the law... any chance you could reply with a parts list of exactly what I'll need to order plus maybe some links too so I can try and source here in Australia? Handle bar on Segway looks like a 3" rise

Fender on the sur ron so supposed to go under the fork crown, ur gonna scratch up the stanchions how u have it. Both are mountain bike forks, just the Dnm is an different style upside down fork like dirt bikes use and rst is a typical MTB style fork. Speed should be the same as they are identical power trains besides the app.

I used the flimsy front fender to make a mudflap to protect the rear shock.i bought a Topeak fender

Both are mountain bike forks. Sur Ron uses whatever is available a shipping time, so you could get either of those forks or shocks. Probably the same for the Segway.

The segway x260 comes with volcano forks,you can upgrade to motorcycle forks.They are really expensive.

@@crazydog0755 Motorcycle forks need to be modified to fit. Most people go with downhill mountain bike forks. They are expensive. $1000- $1800 for decent to top of the line.

Is it acceleration and top speed that is short on the Sur Ron? If it's top speed, did you cut the limiter looped wire? It's nice that you have both to compare. Thanks for the side by side!

@@paulgarayalde6748 Yeah, that's the one to which I am referring. I believe on older models cutting the wire engages the limiter, but on the more recent models, cutting the loop will let the power fly. And I believe it is accomplished in the app on the Segway.

Hey guys...yea..wire snipped first day. I think I found out why the Segway is faster...the Segway is 100amps. The SurRon is 80amps. That would make the difference right?

@@paulgarayalde6748 yes sir. I found out why the X260 can smoke the SurRon...it's bc it's 100amps. The SurRon is 80. So basically it's almost like the Ludacrous edition....almost.

@@wayawesome 20 amps more is getting 20% more torque, so yes it will be faster and probably a little faster on top end. Simply cutting the load side of the BMS on the Surron would accomplish the same thing as the controllers are almost certainly the same. The BMS on the Surron is only allowing a max of 80 amps (if that), so bypassing the load side would let the controller pull full amps.

I don't know if you read the comments on old videos but you kind of got taken from what I can tell that is a late 2019 early 2020 model my 2021 has the exact same Parts as your Segway and I got it in mid October 2021 it has the red spring and the DNM Forks it's pretty much the same as your Segway minus using the phone for programming and I got mine from Luna cycle in 10 days no issues at all and they set up shipping and there's a green Loop that you need to cut to get the full potential of the bike there's no video you have to watch
