Agreed…perfect starter watch. I had the 805 but it is a little too small for me, so I gave it to my teenage son. He enjoys it, and it has peaked his interest in horology.

Got the cream variety (803) from 2 days. Very pleasant watch - especially when I know that the battery that drives it is me :) Going to change the strap with a leather one real soon. Cheers!

Agree 100% with your review - thanks! I have the 803 Cream, and the date wheel mismatch is less off-putting than the other models, and yes, the stock strap is horribad. Immediately ordered a smooth leather strap in a cinnamon color and it makes the watch much more comfortable, and imo looks better with this colorway.

I’ve had the blue one for a few years and I love it. I think it is a very well balanced interesting watch,and well executed. The other day I picked up the cream one,I think they’re starting to disappear. However, if you’re gonna buy this watch, just go ahead and order a strap with it. I got a nice Horween leather strap. And it looks much better and is comfortable.

I bought a 5 in the 90's when my Sea Dweller was in the shop, it just looks like the perfect watch mine was a diver style pepsi. I've still got it and another mosified one. Interestingly enough I've actually scuba dived with one......very overengineered. As I say mine took 10/12 metere dives without a bother.....well, it looked like a diver😳

i dont understand why people complain about the strap and recommend change it for nato... og strap and nato are both polyester... or is it that natos design which rises the watch makes the difference?

Because the stock strap is awful, its itchy and not very supple, most aftermarket are way better.
