I think the leather strap less because it can't be replaced, I told my friend to wear it on a rubber strap it'll look great!

I’ve got this watch. Loses well over a minute a day. Took it back to Seiko and they said they fixed it. Now it loses over 9 mins in 3 days. True as. I’ll take it back to Seiko again tomorrow to have another go at fixing it. Nice looking watch, but losing that much time defeats the purpose. Any ideas. Thanks. Cheers.

Yeah 100% it needs to be fixed, luckily for you the 4r36 is an easy movement to find and swap out if one is faulty

I got 2061/15000 and I love this watch. I use the leather strap because I prefer leather to the NATO strap. However, I think the NATO strap is cooler. Love the fit, the look and I am wearing this one. It’s not going to be hidden.

Hi, I came across this watch by chance here in Spain and I bought it. It will be my first Seiko, and I hope the first of many (actually, my first serious watch since I have an Apple Watch). I wanted to ask you, I would avoid wearing it with the leather strap to preserve it over time. Besides the yellow strap that comes with the watch, is it possible to get another official Seiko strap, perhaps a black leather one and maybe a black or dark gray band? "Could it also be compatible with black steel straps? If I'm not mistaken, they are 22mm. Thanks

@@serghios I think Strapsco makes black steel straps, I think a rubber strap would look good on this, but I'd worry with a metal strap rubbing off the DLC black coating though

I got the 10226 out of the 15000. It’s light and good on my 16.5 cm wrist (small wrist). I got a black silicone strap that makes it quite stealthy. The nato strap is double and makes it pop high on my wrist so for now I don’t wear it. For the price and the rare concept I like it.

Yeah I never liked NATOs because they make the watch so tall. Black silicone is an excellent choice that's what I would have done too

@@johnlower9112 I cannot help you as much as I would like. I walked into the physical store that had the watch and bought it. Not online and not in the US. That said, that strap has some texture to make it more interesting and match the sport feeling of the watch better.

I love it and last night I thought I deserved one. went to look for this beauty ( highly collectable ) I believe , form a collectable point of view, it Is fairly priced, now the deal breaker for me was the crystal ( not saphyre).... it was a huge turn down...will take away value down the road....decided to pursuit another watch instead. Yeah it's too bad that the entire Seiko 5 line has no sapphire, but if you really want one there are plenty of aftermarket sapphire crystals for the 5KX family and a very enthusiastic mod community. And thanks for watching! More videos to come 🙏

Their proprietary Lumibrite is not bad but the black indices limits the lume, and yeah I agree, Seiko should really be putting sapphire on these...

Limited edition means one release, no re runs. One and done. 15k is crazy limited for a wide audience. This number reflects intended market size for said product. Pretty simple.
