I’d guess most viewers are other watch makers, either professional or amateur, plus the occasional layman like me who just has a fascination with mechanical timepieces, but you make these videos interesting and uncomplicated enough for all to follow. I don’t know how many prospective customers watch these videos but seeing this one, and the confident manner in which you reassembled the movement, was the final decider for me to have you restore my father’s bullhead and I wanted to publicly thank you, not only for the great work (it’s still averaging +4 sec/day which I find amazing), but also for the excellent customer service and your patience with my unending questions. If you had a customer comments section on your website I would have added one there but this will have to do. Thanks again, Ashton, for everything. I could not be more pleased.

I really congratulate you for the channel, your videos really help a lot, I have a doubt, when the barrel is mounted on the plate with its bridge, should it be firm or should it still have slack?

What oil do you use to lubricate the chronograph runner?

Should the hour counter wheel be level with the mainspring arbor wheel? I’m re assembling mine and they are not exactly level. Also the wheel on the mainspring arbor is completely loose, no friction at all. Is that normal?

It should have friction. Do you see the spring underneath the wheel? I'm not too sure what you mean by 'level'?
