I got the red SRPL-11 I was looking for a new dive watch to add to my small collection . I chose this because every detail of the watch creates a look of bold yet fine perfection the knurled bezel ring and crown are just stunning . This watch checks all the box's for me .

I’ve got this watch (black) arriving in the post tomorrow, can’t wait, finally a smaller samurai, love it, I like the date window but it would be better at 6, lose the top bit of the 6 index and put it there for proper symmetry. If I was to by the red one I’d definitely want matching colour date wheel. Great video, thanks 👍🏻

Sekio have done an awesome job on these. I like the way they have trimmed down and removed the distinctive shape of the case from the older model Samurais to make the new ones look so much more generic and unrecognisable as Samurais. Also love the fact that these new ones are the same price as the old King Samurais, especially since Seiko have also been able to get rid of the ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal of the King Samurais. To complete the new design I love the way they have used an AliExpress generic rehaut, used some coarse grade sandpaper to roughen up the finishing and make the new handset look truly agicultural but my personal favorite new feature is the new miniscule date window (or is it a mole?). I’m so glad that they managed so comprehensively to remove all of the distinctive Samurai features - case design, handset, lugs, strip out the uneccesary quality components like sapphire and ceramic (you know, things that noone really wants right?) and still increase the price. Bravo Seiko I say!! A true tour de force……

What can I say but some times you have to break the mould and do something different, at least their QC is getting a little better days, but yet even when its so bad that it became a standing joke if your bezel lines up you must have a fake people still buy them. Seiko can do no wrong it appears

I was planning to get a no date dive watch, but I like that "stealth" date window...easy to ignore. I got the black which I enjoy on a black dive strap or sailcloth strap. Also like the knurling on the crown/bezel a lot. Not a small watch but better than the Shogun or original Samurai. Very nice review video, thx CSR.

I’ll be getting the black one with a rubber strap. I like the samurai sword hands and bullet indices. Wears smaller than the dimensions might suggest. My Seiko AD discounts 30%. Buying a Seiko at retail is silly.

I love that there is nothing polished, no bling-bling.. all brushed is nice and sporty (and finally SEIKO has made a usable bracelet and not this cheap junk they recently added to the watches! Hardlex is actually not that much worse, sapphire shatters faster.. hardlex is a bit more "elastic" - hardlex is pretty hard aswell.. no reason to complain - definitely the black model for me

The great thing with brushed surfaces is they are easy to maintain and refinish yourself

@@ClickSpringReview Mine is arriving today, i hope i am not disappointed by the size on my wrist :/ - Yes exactly, i have always Scotch-Brite "classic" sponge for the kitchen - if it is a bit used first on some surfaces, you can easily brush out scratches etc - especially on titanium surfaces / bracelets.. just apply gentle pressure and apply consistent brushes in the desired direction.. that works great :)
