Nice video. Still prefer my green Alpinist with the gold hands and indices..one minor point but the strap is a deployant not a deployment.

I think the SPB201 is a bit of a sleeper but slowly once it’s sold out I see it being a sought-after piece. It’s my favorite out of the the two. In Natural light is the 199 quite a light blue/green? Because it’s hard to judge on all the edited photos.

I paid little bit over the odds for my brand new SARB017 because I detest see through case back and that massive X upon the dial os the newer models that you have there.. I paid £769 for my SARB017 the only alpinist I put over it is THE LAUREL ALPINIST SCVF009 4S15-6000..... Which is a high beat red alpinist green dial mag lens on date solid case back... 💯

Just bought the Matt grey 2021 model today. It was a very difficult choice but the glacier version seemed a little dated once you had them next to each other.

I can't justify spending over $700 for a Seiko Alpinist. That is not a $700 watch. Sure, it's a good little watch. No doubt about it. What a great looking watch too. But, I'm not dishing out more than $499 for that watch. Not happening.
