My first Tuna. I've always felt that the Tuna is THE nerdiest watch for watch nerds. Nobody else would be dumb enough to pay for a quartz-movement tool watch with looks that only a Seiko geek could love. I know I did -- three times. I see your example isn't quite hitting the index marks, much like the SBBN031 I had. Oh well. Killer lume (probably the best of any watch I've ever owned), HAQ-levels of accuracy (mine was +1 second a month), and it wears surprisingly small on the wrist for its 48 mm diameter dimensions. Fun fact: the bezel insert is identical in size and shape to the one in the SXK -- they're interchangeable. Despite being careful with my watches (I wear a G-Shock when the going gets tough), I've managed to put small hairline scratches in the domed Hardlex crystal in all the Tunas that I've owned. The new SBBN04x series have flat sapphire crystals which should be more robust but not as fun as the domes in the second and third-generation 300 meter Tunas. I'm looking forward to the reviews of the new series as the only watch I really have regrets letting go is the Tuna. Thanks for all the great content in 2020, Aron! Happy Holidays Lee!! I figured I would hear from you on this one. I think you're dead on with the "nerdiest" watch award for the MM Tuna. Of course, most of what us watch geeks do is pretty nerdy🤣🤣. So many expectations, requirements we expect, knowing we won't need 99.9% of them. A f91w would pull off most of the needs we have, right!? The second hand is a hair off, but I stopped worrying about that on quartz watches awhile back, and haven't looked back. Lume is insane, and like you mentioned, accuracy is second to none. Thank you for your faithful viewership over the years, and thoughtful commentary. I really appreciate it 🙏 Here's to '21 buddy!!🥂🎊🎉

Picked up the SBBN 033 last year, and what a phenomenal piece it is. Wears extremely well and compact on my 6.75 inch wrist. The lume is truly nuclear. Gorgeous domed crystal. On its way to being discontinued, so definitely holding on to this killer tool watch 🔥

I traded my srp637 and I’ve been missing it ever since and thinking about replacing it BUT I keep seeing this marine master for only a couple hundred more so I’m probably gonna get one of these instead of the automatic baby tunas, if you could only have one, what would Dunlop (Dunlap ) do ?

For me, really, it's refreshing to have a super well built, high torque quartz movement in my collection. I've always wanted the Marine Master, and at the price point, this is perfect. Cheers Mark! Take care 😁👍
