I guarantee if you had a $10,000 Rolex Submariner and wore it the same way you wear the MM300, it would look exactly the same with all the marks you have on the Seiko. Not really seeing the date misalignment on the dial. The watches uses cal 8L35 which is pretty much a Grand Seiko grade movement. How is the timekeeping? Really no adjustment to the date other than to replace the date wheel and hope the printing might align the numbers a bit better in the window. Enjoy the watch.

I’ve owned mine for nearly 3 years, no scratches at all, and very happy with it. If you treat an expensive watch like a beater, then it’s gonna look beaten. I wear a Casio G Shock full metal jacket as my daily driver. I’m glad that you’re still happy with yours. Great video….

Totally 💯 agree with you. I just received my new limited edition SLA047J1 MM300 . How someone can treat a watch of this caliber and then fault it or complain lol . I treat every watch I own as a 10K watch . If you want to beat a watch up buy a Casio or GSHOCK lol 😂

I have had mine exactly a year now and i wear it daily. It looks like new compared to Yours and im the 3rd owner :)

You definitely put your watch to the test! Even with Diashield, steel will scratch and dent when exposed to hard materials. Glad to see someone enjoy this beauty at its fullest.

I just received my brand new SLA047J1 MM300. With a watch of this caliber I can’t see wearing it as a daily wearer or a beater. That’s what a Gshock is for or a more entry level watch . Just my opinion. I say that because to me this is a grail watch and I would never beat the heck out of it .

Daily wearer or not you are very rough with your watches . I have a 14 year old SKA 371 and it is worn all the time and still looks brand new.😂

They make too big of a deal about it. It’s a heavy duty watch, that’s what I bought it for. If you use weak or silicone straps, it will work those, but anything with a brand name is able to hold it in place.

Thanks for letting me know. Top heaviness and fatigue because of the weight were the only things to not go for a SLA021/023. @@PleasantStreetCycles

I have : Rolex rootbeer Mm300 Speedmaster Seamaster 300 All have marks none have marked better or worst they all marked up the same

I actually think the diashield coating on the MM300 protects it a lot more than the steel on the other watches. I've had a GMT Master and seamaster Pro in the past, currently have a speedy pro, mm300 and a grand seiko. All of them have more scratches on them than the mm300 as the diashield protects the polished metal from the hairline swirlies you get when polished metal brushes against the cuff of dress shirts.

The Prince …the Emperor Tuna is the King . I’ve got both and wear the 300 as a dress watch and the Tuna for diving;) But you’re correct… blasphemy indeed ;)

I’ve been wearing my sla055 for the past year and it still looks new, and I haven’t even been too careful. Maybe the Everbrilliant steel is more durable.
