Exclusively available in Europe including the UK, this Prospex “Speedometer” Speedtimer is inspired by the classic 1960s Mediterranean blue automobiles which were the height of fashion when the Speedtimer was first created.
There are several features on the watch inspired by this key time in Seiko history, when road trips and car journeys were glamorous - the dial itself has a retro-style matte finish, whilst the orange accent colouring takes its looks from an automobile’s Speedometer. The accompanying brown punched leather strap option is designed to fit the classic car aesthetic, resembling the vintage steering wheel.
From the Speedtimer collection, this ‘Speedometer’ timepiece has chronograph functionality, allowing the user to accurately measure elapsed time with its V192 solar calibre movement, accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month. It comes in a limited edition box, with its limited edition number engraved on the case back.
Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Can we stop calling any shade of light-blue "Tiffany", please! This isn't anywhere close to that actual shade of blue. This is much more powder blue, or sky blue. Tiffany is a lot more of a green/turquoise shade, and looks VERY different to this.

Hi Barry, I rather like this. I know that we tend to prefer mechanical movements, but this quartz model will probably be thinner than a typical automatic chronograph, and won't have the same service costs. My wife brought me back a Seagull 1963 from China just before Christmas, and I'm dreading overhaul time! Anyway, it'll be the weekend soon, so have a good one m8, LG Bob 🍻🚂

The Seagull movement does look great plus it's an old Swiss design . This Seiko has a good weight to it and feels solid and I think won't give you any problems in the long run matey

Love that steel bezel and the colour (good for Coventry fans!). Don't know why more big brands don't put out quartz chronos - cheaper, thinner, and none of the service worries! Thanks for showing this one. Brilliant shots. Severely tempted by this one ...
