Have you noticed the small gap of the bracelet from the lug? Look at the upper lug From 0:30 - 0:40

@@jeffdolgin7436 went with aquis avg accuracy is 3s/d and that integrated bracelet design is pretty darn haut to me. ymmv, but as for finishing and specs... *seiko has left the chat*

I love the watch very much and went with the rubber strap version instead. The bracelet is nice but where the ends meet the case, there is a small gap and it slides side to side a bit, which is annoying. But the rest of the watch is very high quality and feel super solid in the hand.

I sold my BB58 Blue as it was so boring and over rated. I got this SEIKO and an Oris diver 65 heritage in it’s place. I still had cash left over👍🏻

I would've preferred if the hour indices were pushed further out towards the edge. Similar to the omega 2254.50 layout. It's a small dial and this kind of layout would've made it appear a tad larger and not as crammed.

Thanks for the review. A home run indeed. I am convinced now to get the one with the bracelet as well. Is it Zaratsu polished? I compared it with my sla017, which is Zaratsu polished, and, it's just a shade off. The 017 hands and indices sparkle like those of the GS diver, which l also have. The brush finished is more distinct. It's the same with my MM300 sla021,but, the indices is not as good as the 017. Nevertheless, these reinterpretations are definitely top notch for the money. I like the bezel more than that on the 017. The strap on the reinterpretations look better and doesn't feel rubbery like the waffle strap on the 017. The shorter length is a bonus surprise. Now, no extra end sticking out. In my country, most watch shops sell seiko. Lots of competitions. We get good deals. I bought the spb153j1 for $830. l bought the 62MAS spb147j1 for less at $760. Apparently, being smaller, it has less steel cost, lol. The ones in bracelet cost $140 more. Google Shopee or Lazada, Asian online portals. You can see previous 62MAS reinterpretations like spb 071J1 selling for $660. The new reinterpretations are not sold there yet as they selling well in the retailers shops. Later, when there's ample supply, it will appear like before. But unfortunately, they don't ship outside Asia. Gnomon watches in Singapore, my neighbour country, do ship outside Asia, but, no discount on these two as yet bec it's hot right now. Take the other models as example, say sla021, you get about 21% off MSRP. In shops in the streets you will get more. Otherwise, they just drive over the bridge to the southern part of my country. That's what Singaporeans do. They shop across. I bought the king turtle srpe07k1 for $400. The k models are made by seiko factory in my country and Singapore, so, we get even better deals. Are they value for the money? YES.

Just a warning for everyone , I purchased this watch from Seiyajapan and they shipped it via DHL. DHL is charging $150 usd import fee to deliver the package ! I have ordered over 50 watches from Japan , china , singapore up to $2500 usd and I have NEVER been charged an import fee ! I will never order from seiya again . I will only stick with shops like Gnomon.

Even more expensive watches like oris divers sixty fives and oris aquis have went straight through in the past, no problems . I will continue to use gnomon.

Just a heads up that Seiya, out-of-country retailers in general, and the carriers have no control over when customs are levied on inbound shipments. Customs stops and inspects inbound packages at random to levy tariffs on goods. Your package from Seiya was just selected to be charged inbound tariffs that are technically applied to all goods inbound that are on the import tariff schedule. Last year I was given the tariff bill on a watch I ordered from Japan that came in via FedEx. FedEx will deliver the package and bill you later; looks like DHL just wants payment up front.
