The Seiko with the digital display is commonly known as the Arnie, it's a re-issue of a watch that was worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger in alot of 80s/90s movies. It has some cool features, amongst which is an option to display a second timezone, it's my go to travel watch and it wears great despite the dimensions.

I didn’t get the comment about *liking or not liking the bezel. Am I so old school that I buy a watch with a bezel because I need the bezel for (diving, timing, gmt)? I guess now that I think about it, people buy chronographs with no intention of using them, just that it looks cool. I’m a big fan of the gmt and use it while traveling. Traska makes a gmt with inner bezel with locking crown. Then a Tudor which I have used to dive but in reality mostly using it to time ramen noodles

your trip to Aeon reminds me of my time living in Japan. I wish i'd see more of the traditional seiko 5's in stores (snkl etc) with the shield logo, but it seems like Seiko is all in with the rebranding of Seiko 5. I hope this doesn't mean the end of the "shield" logo models

I'm not saying this is what this store does, but in many stores I've been in one of the employee chores just before opening is winding the displayed watches. If that sounds time consuming, wait til you notice that all of these are displaying roughly the same time (not the seconds)
