Great video. I've been debating about buying an SBBN015 (used) or a SBBN031 (new). I like the hands better on the 015, but used prices are nearly the same as a brand new one. With a new watch, I won't have to worry that some issue will arise from the previous owner and I like buying new because it feels like "my" watch and not someone else's watch (weird, but true).

Excellent overview of a classic watch series. My SBBN013 "Darth" is my favorite watch! Not a big fan of the new dials on the current models.

one piece case designed was not for stop water entry, it was designed for stop gas enter to the watch when diver wearing this big watch in the compression chamber!

Hmm…the issue is that the Seiko 6215/6159 came out quite a few years earlier and they both had a one piece case and crystal retaining ring. It was said that design was to help it be more “sturdy and heavy duty”. In regards to the 6159 tuna, which came out 7 years later, Tokunaga had stated that it was the one piece case plus the L shaped gasket that helped with helium tightness. The only new addition to this watch was the new gasket…
