The Tandorio is not a clone! It's a homage. There's clearly a difference. It's more a homage of the original SKX.

Great comparison, Dan the value on that tandorio is remarkable, and it very much looks like the SRPD59 orange dial version of the Seiko which is also a little more expensive I have found then some of the other versions may be because of that orange dial and another classic meme at the end!

@@bluecollarwatches7048 Link? What's the source that it's not an authentic NH35? Are you saying that if it's licensed it's not authentic? I'd think a licensed manufacturer's NH35, even if in China, is quite authentic and maybe (one of) the official manufacturer(s) of NH35s.

@@RM-pg4js I opened it up and I gave a new video up, it is a built under license nh35 from TMI. So it's still manufactured in China but is a legit nh35.

From what Ive seen the Tandorio has better specs other than the movmnt and it has much better QC, and personally Im quite happy with the NH35. And if you dont like the name Tandorio offer a sterile dial version.

They offer many sterile dial watches, I’m a huge fan of this brand. They will mostly likely nerve gain in value but there is definitely value in this brand.

U cant beat the value. Same as steeldive and addiesdive etc etc. I suspect they all come out the same factory and they slap a different dial on them. Hell…. Seiko prolly does rhe same. I see NO difference in my seikos vs my steeldives…..

"200m I don't trust it" you should check some high pressure tests here in youtube. The 1000m Cronos was tested and reached the equivalent to 2800m.

@@waqarhaider2226 I very impressed with tandori watches, great build quality and very affordable and no crown issues on the ones I own and I have a total of five of them. 2 pt5000 and 3 nh35, the pt 5000 is a great movement.

@@waqarhaider2226, the crown is a bit tricky to unscrew because the crown guards are so prominent that they get in the way; it’s not a big deal to me. As far as the finishing goes it’s difficult to say; the skx/sk5 is mostly a polished rounded case so no tricky edging. In general it looks great. The bezel is super smooth…slightly misaligned, but barely. I bought the Batman version, the dial is a very deep black which I love because it just makes everything pop. The bracelet was very creeky out of the box, but I worked some electric razor oil into the links and it’s now very quit and not jangly at all. Clasp is just ok….standard crappy Seiko style clasp. It has kept excellent time and seems to have a very good power reserve as I have not had to wind it all since I put it on wrist. The GMT movement works great. This is my first GMT so it took me some time and a few videos to understand how it works. If I were grading this watch I would give it an A-. Points off for the misaligned bezel and crappy clasp. Of course, if you buy the Seiko version of this watch it will cost you between 475.00 and 375.00 US and you may still have the same issues. Hope that helps!

I had an orange tandorio skx and it got dirty so i lightly rinsed it under water in the sink for about 5 seconds and water got inside it. The crown was secure and so was the backplate. 200m? Not even a meter and it drowned. You get what you pay for

Regarding value retention: If you lose only 40% on the Seiko, and you lose 95% on the Tandorio, well, you lose ....ahhhh ... calculator .... OH YEAH, Seiko WINS BIG TIME! Seiko loses you just 80 dollars from the 200 you paid, and Tandorio is soooo bad, because you lose 58.90 from the 62 dollars you paid, so the Seiko is better at ... ah ... oh ... losing money? BOTTOM LINE: It's a hobby, and we do it, because we like what we buy and do with it, so never mind the "value", because that is the wrong reason to get into any hobby! Try to "create value", and you blow the joy of it all. You like the Seiko, get the Seiko, but don't do it for retaining better value, because the math says "NIJET" and does it with a loud cracking sound of a shoe banging on the podium, as Chrustchov once did in the big U.N. assembly room!
