This is the Zettersfeldbahn in Lienz, an absolutely exquisite 1985 early-generation Doppelmayr gondola. A total mechanical jewel it is!

Die gleiche gibt es auch in Laax. vom Crap Masegn (2477m) zum Fuorcla (2118m) und dann wieder auf den Vorab(2570m) .Sie ist aber furchtbar langsam.

no. modern ones have no difference or character. you're just greedy for capacity and speed. if you don't like old lifts then don't ride them.
