I just got these trucks in 130mm 45/30 configuration to put on my G-Bomb X26 w/Zee brackets. These things ride so differently from any other RKP truck I've tried. They almost feel like TKPs in that they like to lean, and in order to get any turn out of them, you're gonna have to put some significant lean into them. The hanger and bushing design is genius...super-smooth articulation and zero slop. They're great for going in a straight line and help keep things steady when I'm in switch kick stance, but asking them to turn hard when you need them to is a challenge. I imagine they would be better on a shorter board.

Thanks for your input. You would be surprised on slop. I'm gonna get a video on them in a couple of weeks

Interesting.... I'll buy them once riptide makes bushings for them since I seem to be so specific when it comes to bushings.

yeah, that would be nice, but we are talking about seismic. They should have great urethane!

Agreed with Michael, the seismic bushings are pretty good.

Also, here is how to use normal bushings: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4S2mqB4jM-Zg80si=QgWbqUvVHZ2jVB3n

Nice for some reason I neglected the fact that it was made by seismic. I had to warranty my paris 150 trucks because of pivot issues. Maybe I will try these next! Hoping they come to canada soon

Have you tested them? How do they skate as a wedged front truck when compared to a precision spherical RKP or even Bears? Do you like the original bushings or prefer the modded ones from a slop/performance standpoint? Can't wait to see the follow up video.

Tested the rear, 105mm 30 Degree! Feels pretty good! A Video will come up at some point!
@oliverszekely7 ай бұрын
@@skate-horizons Why do you prefer it so narrow? I find that wider rear performs better for me. I thought that rake at the rear hanger is not beneficial for LDP.
@skate-horizons7 ай бұрын
@@oliverszekely less preference more availability. I have the 105 and 130 hanger and the 105 cant be mounted to a bracket. Its too narrow. Thats why i have jt there. I assume the front needs more angle, so i put it on a completely different Setup

recently I've been looking for narrow RKP trucks to try on my comet cruiser as an experiment. These seem to be to only ones out there that's in the 105mm range. Do they ride well and how do you like them? Does the weird bushing shape really do what they claim it to do?
@skate-horizons2 ай бұрын
@@balakaeman Well they are not bad, I have a set of 130s. they are good trucks, but not as exceptional as you might want them to be ;D

The ones I wanted are already out of stock on muirskate so ide check em out quick haha. (130mm ones seem perfect for a supersonic.)

Order them from seismic directly;) Also how did it go ? Im really stoked on your performance with the Hokus ;)

Please review them once you do some testing. I'd love to try em on my Supersonic

@@skate-horizons if that 30 degree baseplate is sort of compatible with bear/Paris/caliber that would be pretty cool. I appreciate they are trying new things but the bushing is putting me off. I usually run harder bushings boardside and it bothers me you have to get two additional sets to make that happen here (with symmetrical angles) instead of the one. Both venom and blood orange pack their plug barrels the same way to be fair but annoying in either case.

@@Kufunninapuh it isn't unfortunately. We have to rely on those old Randal ones....

@@skate-horizonswould you mind elaborating?
@skate-horizons2 ай бұрын
@@evilinvaderfrombe Sure, the front, at least for LDp is not really that great. It doesnt pump that well and isnt really an improvement over any other truck. Having a low degree rear on a cast truck is awesome and makes it useful for a lot of ldp setups, cause you can get really close to 0 or have it at -30 degree. Also for the rear its okay to not have as many bushing choices!
@evilinvaderfrombe2 ай бұрын
@@skate-horizons Ah, I see. So it's more about the specific use than the trucks themselves? I can imagine them not being as good for LDP, as the 45° truck in the front should be less turny than the usual 50° ones. I can also imagine the 30° trucks being better than higher angled trucks in the rear, but definitely not as good as the 0° ones.
@skate-horizons2 ай бұрын
@@evilinvaderfrombe Pretty much that. I angled them but didnt improve that much. They are not bad. But not as good as they might look or thought out to be! But maybe I just not yet found a good config !
