I have been following this trip with awe. Each time a car goes by i stop breathing. When I did this bike trip 42 years ago there was very little traffic. I suggest you do not walk at weekend. Keep safe.

I completely understand the risks point of view here. Its just dangerous to walk beside a motor way. For example here in Finland (yes, we’re still ”enjoying” snow here), its strickly prohibited to walk or cycle beside a highway. Cheers, have fun and most importantly, take care!

The road to PortoCovo has a lot of traffic, but also the one from Milfontes to S.Teotonio. Go to the market in S.Teotonio, you will have very delicious and home made cookies, ask for Sandra. Good Luck!!

Oh, you crazy kids!! (You would think more people would stop and ask if you needed help, with a stroller)... but ya that was a bit insane... and by now you know that was the easier part of trip through Portugal's STUNNING Costa Vicentina. It is my favourite part of Portugal. All I thought, at the end of this video is... those roads were nothing compared to what you have ahead, if you follow the coastal highway. It's nuts. But, you already know that. Loving this series!! So glad you are back on the mainland exploring.

You did well to skip past Sines. The Bay Area, on the south-western side is nice enough but is otherwise the most industrial and unattractive place in Portugal (that I saw). So different from the Portugal we are used to. It does get prettier and prettier!

Are you planning on walking just the highway, or switching to the Fisherman's Trail? It´s so intense watching you three face the oncoming traffic, when right next to you there's a scenic, safe trail, however it might be difficult with the stroller!
