U 2 are learning life lessons at such a young age. I just turned 68 and learned at 21 to grab onto life by the balls. Leaving for Portugal next month then Spain, quitting smoking so I can learn to scuba dive this summer so I can spend a month in the Philippines next September September

As a Finn, I comfirm that there are quite a lot of peaceful corners here in Finland too. Highly recommended for anyone yearning for a place to be one with the nature and relax. Also I fully approve that barrel shaped sauna 👍

Iceland is pretty peacefull, parts of Scotland, parts of the north eastern part of the Irish Isle is peacefull. Vast areas of northern Norway are pretty peacefull as well I think... 😅

Yeah this country is very beautiful and actually my favorite one. I'm Portuguese and wanted to move there this year but unfortunately can't do that anymore. Rents are higher then in my country and I do live in the 4th richest. This is absolutely incomprehensible! Of course you can find a very cheap place somewhere in Portugal but I'm a big city person, especially because my job can only be done there. And another thing that sucks is that people need to have 3 or even more jobs to pay their bills. No free time at all.. That's absolutely not acceptable for me! A lot has to change in Portugal!

Estou a escrever isto em português porque este desabafo é destinado a vocês os dois, e eu sei que entendem a minha adorada língua. Infelizmente Portugal está cada vez mais a ficar um país inseguro, especialmente nas grandes cidades, onde as autoridades locais estão, na sua ganancia, a matar tudo o que é português, e a criminalidade, especialmente de alguns migrantes está a crescer em numero e em grau de violência , o que infelizmente está a levar muita gente a votar em partidos fascistas. Lisboa vai aumentar a taxa turística para quatro euros por noite/pessoas, e só este ano vão ser inaugurados mais 45 hotéis só na cidade. Os Alfacinhas estão a ser empurrados cada vez para mais longe e sinto que Lisboa se está a tornar um resort para ricos em que os portugueses só são admitidos para trabalhar, um dia constroem um muro á volta da cidade e fazem-nos checkpoints para entrar tipo Cisjordânia. Mas ainda há muito para ver e sentir, especialmente no interior, eu adoro montanhas e ai é onde me sinto mais em sintonia comigo mesmo. Meu sonho é um dia poder vender a minha casa e mudar-me para uma cidade pequena onde tenha comboio, para poder viajar. PS: Love the tan line of Joen lol

That's actually very reasonable for a michelin restaurant. Big 1L bottles of sparkling water. It's not unusual for fine dine restaurants to charge 10€ per bottle.
