A natural child has a beginning, while within the Godhead the Son is eternal. *The term “Son” is used metaphorically* when applied to the Godhead. Such an expectation has always been a part of historic Adventism and is reaffirmed in the Statement of Fundamental Beliefs voted in 1980. The speaker has quoted from the writings of Ellen White. I wonder whether he agrees with EGWhite on this quoted text below where she wrote that the Holy Spirit is Christ Himself. "Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. At the time of the Peace Council held in eternity, there were only 2 of them (Zechariah 6:13); therefore at Creation, there were only 2; in Daniel 7:9, on the throne there is only the Ancient of days and the Son; Revelation 4:2 “there was a throne and one sat on it” and the lamb; in the last two chapters of Revelation 21:5, 22:1, 3, there are only 2 people on the throne. If the Holy Spirit had been a third person, he would appear on the throne. Do not you think ?

Yes....'god the spirit' sits on the left hand of God. It is not recorded in our Bible, but we are to accept it by faith. Right? Very much like the 'mystery of the trinity'. We MUST accept it. This is what my priest told me when I was very young. Now that I am adult, my GC president coincidentally ALSO says the same thing to me. I MUST accept the triplet god, or else I can't be baptized. You are also speaking directly against the founders of the very church of which you today are a member. The pen of Inspiration says, *“The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them.”* - ‘Acts of the Apostles’ page 52, 1911. Shortly after this Jesus said “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:16-17- *Jesus then said* - *“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”* John 14:18. *It is very plain to see that when Jesus said the “Comforter” is coming He said that it was Himself that would come. Obviously though, this was not in bodily form because bodily He was in Heaven with His Father [Acts 2:39, 7:56, Hebrews 8:1, 12:2].* The Scriptures also tell us that bodily He will return to earth [Matthew 26:64, Acts 1:10-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Revelation 1:7 etc]. There is a difference therefore in Jesus coming as the Comforter and Jesus coming bodily. At the last supper, Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him “Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?” [See John 14:22] Jesus replied “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and *my Father will love him, and *we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”* [See John 14:23]. From what Jesus said here to His disciples, it is very evident that when the Comforter came it would be both God and Christ that came *[“we will come unto him”] yet not bodily.* This is *because bodily, both God the Father and Christ would both still be in heaven. This is the very reason why the early Seventh-day Adventists believed that the Holy Spirit was not another person with individuality like God and Christ but was both of them [God and Christ] omnipresent.* In other words, *the Holy Spirit was said to be the Spirit of both God and Christ.* *One final thought to consider here. In the book of Revelation, when referring to the time period after the saints have been delivered from earth, John was shown scenes of Heaven.* *He wrote:* “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, *proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.* In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: *but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;* and his servants shall serve him:” Revelation 22:1-3. *He also wrote:* “And I saw no temple therein: *for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.”* Revelation 21:22 *AGAIN, THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.* - *Why not if He is a person like God and Christ [like “the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb”]?* * It concludes in the last chapter of the book8 - *“And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God [and] of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:”* Revelation 22:3 From reasoning the above Scriptures, it can only be concluded that in a nature that we cannot understand, *the Holy Spirit is a person but it could NEVER be concluded that He is a person like God and Christ [or like you and I] are persons.*

The mistake that some folks makes is that they assume that in light of all of these statements that the Holy Spirit cannot be a person. Who is man that he could confine a specific form to God‘s Holy Spirit? There are many quotes that mention that He is a person. He has the attributes of a person…

@@robertaj3767 The Spirit is not a person like the Father and Son. If you check out manuscripts written by Mrs. White, she often added ality beside person. The Spirit takes on the Form of who it belongs too, so the Spirit must have the same attributes of Christ and The Father. It is simple when you think things out properly.

I read in the bible that God is One God and there is no other, also God and the lamb, no other. IS not God holy and has or is a spirit, do men/wo also have a spirit meaning the breath of life. Do we not own a spirit and body in ourselves? Jesus breathe into the apostles in the upper room saying receive the holy spirit, as if giving a living power of himself to them. Why even speak about the Anti- 3, non -3, or 3, for the word trinity is not in the Bible!

There are those who call themselves "trinitarians" - and ARE NOT trinitarians at all - but faithful and authentic Triune ELOHIM worshippers, and those who call themselves "anti-trinitarians" - but are trinitarians all the way down to their cell levels... They exclusively worship someone who The Lord Jesus NEVER uttered a word about- like God, Gott, Zeus, Deus, Dios, Dieu, Bruckan (Mongolian) or Pucheckhame (aboriginal Peruvian; imagine having to always read: "In the beginning Pucheckhame (or Bruckan) created the heavens and the earth"), and - "I am the only "Pucheckhame", and besides me there is no other Pucheckhame" anywhere in this vast universe! You have to first study WHO "ELOHIM" IS and then you have to discover where "GOD" comes from. YES- we do not fully understand WHO The Spirit of ELOHIM is, but we do understand quite "fully" that there are Three Persons called "The Three Heavenly DIGNITARIES" / MAJESTIES (as per E.G. White). When we read in the Old Testament "I AM GOD, AND THERE IS NO OTHER" - do you really now WHO is speaking ? It was The ETERNAL Angel of The Lord, - FUTURE Lord Jesus ! So if I would follow your analogy I would have to state that 'Lord JESUS" is THE ONLY GOD in The Universe - and there is NONE OTHER - NO Father, NO SPIRIT OF ELOHIM - nobody else ! Your analogy and rationalization is totally false...

We can have a long discussion on the names. Just remember that Paul had no issue to translate the names of Jehova to Theos. That root also goes back to Deus and even Zeus. But language is not than just letters, it has all to do with meaning, and Theos means ultimate divine being, which Jehovah is. EG White also used the word God. There is no triune Elohim in the Bible. Yes, the Holy Spirit is a person, I do not deny that, but not in the same way as the Father and the Son. Never is the Father nor the Son called "it." The Spirit is the Spirit of God vs Christ, not a separate individual. It is however the very presence of God, but not a mere presence, but God Himself with us. The Spirit of Christ is Himself uncombered by humanity. The Spirit is how God is everywhere, since God is a being with location and form. God, or them Elohim, is not a committee, not a conglomerate of beings. Elohim is personal being, a He. God is not woke and it's not a they/them, but a He/Him. God is the Father of Jesus. Jesus is not His own Father. God is a personal spiritual being, separate from His Son. Jesus is also God, because He is God's Son. He is begotten by the Father from eternity, begotten, not created. So, how is this false? So you believe Elohim is a person or a combination of persons? Is He a personal spiritual being?

The preacher spoke against the Trinity, and rightly so. However, he also criticized the “anti-Trinitarian movement” as being deceived by Satan because he claimed that we do not regard the Holy Spirit as the third Person of the Godhead. There is no dispute that the Father is God. In John 1:1, we have Jesus Christ as "The Word", Who is here distinct from God the Father, as He is "WITH God". There were some that believed in unitarianism, believing that the Father and the Son was one being, yet Ignatius, one of the two big disciples of John, wrote against them and said that there is only one unbegotten (the Father) and only one begotten (Jesus). Why did John forget to teach him the Trinity? The Trinity was only really devised in 325 AD by evil men who murdered thousands, millions who did not accept that Jesus was not the only begotten Son of God. 43:43 - Sealing Time begun When Ellen White was Alive. LDE 222.3 -Mrs.Hastings has already been sealed. She died in 1850. LDE 222.4 -Sealing begun in 1848. The Third Angels Message does the Sealing. It involves a Sabbath Reform. So as long as there was a third Angel working people been continuing to be sealed. The holding of the winds in Rev. 7:1-4 is the one that happened in 1848. And many people have already been Sealed and have died since 1848 and many are continuing to be sealed now. Those sealed and died will ressurect in the Special Ressurection that happens a small time before Christ Returns. LDE 271.1,2 Check Eld J.N Loughborough's "Questions on the Sealing Message" and Elder Uriah Smith's "A study of tgw 144000" and Eld. Joseph Bates' "The Seal of God". Ellen White makes it clear in the 1858 Great Controversy that the Sealing had not started yet. From Chapter 35 "The Third Message Closed"; "I was pointed down to the time when the third angel's message was closing. The power of God had rested upon his people. They had accomplished their work, and were prepared for the trying hour before them. They had received the latter rain, or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and the living testimony had been revived. The last great warning had sounded everywhere, and it had stirred up and enraged the inhabitants of earth, who would not receive the message. I saw angels hurrying to and fro in heaven. An angel returned from the earth with a writer's ink-horn by his side, and reported to Jesus that his work was done, that the saints were numbered and sealed.
