I think the reason jev is breezing through this game is because the gameplay is kind of like a rhythm game, so he sub-consciously remembers all the patterns and timings.

Glad to see you playing Sekiro Jev, I absolutely loved it. One thing I’ll recommend, anytime you see water, jump in and look for those fishes that give you the scales, but save those scales!! If you noticed when you went to that merchant on the rock there was half of a mask you could buy, if you save your scales and buy that one, there will be another merchant offering the other half later in the game and with the mask complete you could then increase your attack power using the skill points you get from killing enemies, on top of increasing it from killing bosses. It will be helpful for if you ever consider doing a second play through. You’re about to make me play this game for like a 6th time lmao

Well, if he already beat Great Shinobi, I think that's gonna be the first wall. I don't see him breezing through that, because it was 5 years ago since last time. Beyond that, only Demon and Glock should be a problem, having beaten most of the game once before makes a huge difference.

I noticed this game is extremely difficult to learn, but once you have it, it’s so satisfying and so much fun. I couldn’t get past the 3rd boss for the first 3 years and I gave up and didn’t even play it. Now that I have it down, I can’t believe I’m so late to the party. Such a great game with great combat.

just started sekiro two days before his first video on it and have been watching a lot of content about it, you couldnt have made these videos at a better time lol PLEASE make this a series, im almost finished with the game so none of this is spoiling either. Also not only is the combat a 10/10 I really like how they made it very learnable with boss fights, making it so you can tank dmg rather on elden ring and ds2 you die in 2 hits by every boss, they went with high health bar with mid dmg rather a glass cannon, more souls games in the future need to keep that a thing

Yo Jev not sure if you’ll read this but little tip for when enemies do sweep attacks and such, you’re able to jump up and land on their heads and do a little posture damage as well as you can chain this into different combat arts to get some free attacks in. SUPER huge method to keep the posture damage going. If you read this I love you

FYI when a boss does a sweeping attack, instead of backing up you can jump over it and jump again in the air near the boss to jump off its head doing a LOT of posture damage. Loving the sekiro so far!

There's some good places to farm early in the game so you can grab some of the big skills that really help you early on in the game. Don't be afraid to do that. Mikiri counter ones, anything related to posture dmg or your own posture. The skill that gives you health for every deathblow is KEY.

If he gets stuck, sure. But farming is useless before playthrough 4, or even 8, depending on how many runs you wanna do. I can see why someone would farm Fat Wax for Malcontent on the first run though, I actually had to do that myself on my Sekiro guide recently. I don't really need it for Demon anymore but it's invaluable against Headless.

Don't hesitate to explore the Chalice Dungeons if you get stuck. They might seem like a waste of time at first but you get a ridiculous amount of souls in the harder layers. That said, you can't top Sekiro, once you've grown to love that combat everything will be a letdown. The only thing that came even close was Ghost of Tsushima. That game has other qualities though.

some optional bosses you cant do past a certain point depending on the ending, if you plan on fighting the optional bosses id look up where to find them and fight them whenever you feel like you can
