What is Selebi-Phikwe like?
Selebi-Phikwe is a small mining town in Central East of Botswana. The town has seen devastating economic repercussions when the Mine closed in 2006 making ~5000 people unemployed.
There is hope of life as a new company as bought some assets of the Mine and hope to resume production in the near future.
I was born and raised in this town. My family still lives here so the town and its people are dear to me.
In this video, join me as I go grocery shopping and lets discover the cost of food here in 2022.
Prices conversion are Botswana Pula to Canadian $ (1$ = 9Pula).

Yes, and this is a mass market shop. A pack them high and sell them cheap kind of store . Maybe look out for the size of the content, they tend to sell bulk
