@uprightcityuprightcity383 A visiting visa for Botswana allows travellers to enter the country for short-term stays, typically for tourism, business, or family visits. Here is a brief overview of how it works: 1. **Eligibility**: Many nationalities, including citizens of the United States, European Union countries, and some African countries, do not require a visa for short stays (usually up to 90 days). It's essential to check if your nationality requires a visa. 2. **Application Process**: If you need a visa, you can apply at a Botswana embassy or consulate. The application usually requires: - A completed visa application form. - A valid passport with at least six months' validity and blank pages. - Passport-sized photographs. - Proof of travel arrangements (flight itinerary). - Proof of accommodation in Botswana. - Evidence of sufficient funds for your stay. - A letter of invitation if visiting family or friends. 3. **Processing Time**: Visa processing times can vary, so it's advisable to apply well in advance of your planned travel dates. 4. **Visa Validity**: Visiting visas are typically valid for up to 90 days. Extensions may be possible in some cases, but you need to apply before your initial visa expires. 5. **Entry and Exit**: Upon arrival, immigration officials will verify your documents and may ask about the purpose of your visit. Ensure you comply with the visa conditions during your stay. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's best to consult the official website of the Botswana Department of Immigration and Citizenship or contact the nearest Botswana embassy or consulate.

I'm ready to cash out my 401k and use my savings to leave America 😫 I've been to the continent of Africa twice already, and my spirit accepts it so much. I'm a descendant of slaves here in America, and I believe there's a better future for me there. However, I'm married to a Nigerian who says he wants nothing else to do with Africa. He just got to the states, he wants to move somewhere in Europe if anything. He's not understanding Europeans don't want us there 🤦🏾♀️ grrrŕ my struggle lol The rent is super reasonable. How easy is it to get residence permit in for a Foreigner in Botswana? Thank you. Love your channel.
@loratotv49604 ай бұрын
As for getting a residence permit in Botswana, it depends on the purpose of your stay. For foreigners, it's generally easier if you're coming for employment, business, or as a dependent of someone already living there. You would need to apply through Botswana’s Department of Immigration and Citizenship, providing documents like a valid passport, proof of employment or business registration, and police clearance. The process can take time, so it's best to start early and ensure you have all required paperwork in order.

I’m AA and been living in Ghana the past few years & while I love Ghana, I’m not sure it’s the right place for me long term. As a single woman, my main considerations are safety and a reasonable cost of living. I’m wondering how safe is the country for single women traveling alone and also how is it just outside the city (I prefer not to live smack dead in a major city)? Meaning, are there quiet “suburbs” not far from the main city where one might find a single apartment and where there might be a bit more space and green spaces or where I might have a small garden? Also, as you’ve been in the country for some time, what do you say about the social life and activities? Again, as a single person, is there much to do in terms of social gatherings (not club scene)?
