You sent me six Ilyodon furcidens back in April of 2015. I had seen a pair at Aquarium Co-op, but couldn't buy them (they were in a huge tank at the time). I've managed to spread some around, and currently have about 35. Beautiful fish-- still some of my favorites. Algae eating machines! Thanks for the update.

Do you ever make caves that are green or brown? I have a pretty natural looking setup and it'd be sweet to have something that doesn't stick out with the look I have.

Please email me at selectaquatics@Gmail.com and we can discuss this further, however, all of the goodeids are colder water fish, and if you have never kept a goodeid before, a couple of the species here are excellent first goodeids to work with! Greg Sage, selectaquatics.com

Your video would look better if you did not add the extra light. Ot blows out & co fuses your auto focus. The tank lights are usually more than enough
@Baffi_5 жыл бұрын
Lol you need to move to Florida Greg. Or find a partner in Florida and start farm producing these species in large breeding colony ponds. It’s harder to selective breed, but large colony breeding is really better for maintaining a more natural strain

Do your cheeks puff out like Dizzy Gillespie when you hit those high notes?
@selectaquaticsoferie5 жыл бұрын
Great Question! No - not at all. Dizzy was a poor self taught kid that developed that habit when young and never corrected it. Trumpet players today work hard to develop all of their facial muscle groups to prevent that sort of thing from happening. Thanks for the question!
